Queen of the Abyss
So I'm not sure if anyone has taken note to the YCM Gym Challenges, but I did my best to find a Deck for the gym leader. I ran into this card and made a Deck for the Reptile gym under the heavy limits they have. Through testing, (And the almighty power of Chicken Race) this really makes me realize why Reptilianne are destined to be as relevant as Fabled. When you can get it off, Viper is quite literally Mind Control in the form of a Tuner, which makes it absurd removal with other potential bonuses, all in a Normal Summon. Reptilianne have other bonkers options in the form of Scylla and their own Synchro, Hydra, which when set up right can destroy AND draw 3-4 cards out of nowhere, which is Seraph level insanity. But alas, we have no way to consistently set these things up because there are no good cards that turn an opponent's monsters ATK to 0, (Myself having to resort to combos with Zero Force and Ghosts of the Past) so we are safe for now. How about a discussion for the insanity of this dude and its devil-in-a-lizard friends, and maybe a general discussion about other bonkers support for 5D's archetypes that may never make it
Toffee.
Part of me wishes they made more Synchros for this Archetype. 'Course, This card can be used for any Synchro, but still.

Hydra is absurdly good, but requires some setup to fully get off. Even something that just has a good effect outside of when it hits the field would have been appreciated. But alas, I don't think is something they will touch anytime soon
Bringerofcake
Reptiliannes used to be my deck, man. But despite the hilarious things they can do, plus new cards working wtih the deck (Ghosts of a Grudge, Stormforth for Medusa, Zerozelock, etc etc) the deck is just really really slow and hard to make work. I have a somewhat fast version thanks to the Chicken Race draw engine, but consistency can be a pain at times. (Admittingly, I am using a version that had restrictions for the gym set in mind) Alas, there, yes, are some absolutely hilarious things you can do with it, and King of the Feral Imps makes it amazing once you get it all going. But there isn't quite a good middle somewhere I don't think. You either have a loss of speed or a loss of consistency. But that's the rogue struggle I suppose
