During your draw phase, you can special summon 1 WIND machine type monster from your deck or hand instead of conducting your normal draw phase. If this card leaves the field, all battle damage you would receive this turn is reduced to zero. Now I don't know if this would work good with the support nowadays but let's see what happens. Sleepy Posted July 25, 2015 Report Share Posted July 25, 2015 The first thing that comes to mind is Mecha Phantom Beasts. In that sense it sounds like a very interesting card. You can protect a token once per turn to make it a pain for your opponent to get rid of them since they already cannot get destroyed at all while there are Tokens on your side.The effect that reduced damage must be the most fun one to trigger. You will make it go off with Mystical Space Typhoon, with Double Cyclone, or even Magical Hats and protect yourself as you laugh at your opponent for the turn. Outside of that it almost seems like it Gadgitron or Union decks would fit it more if it didn't specifically go for WIND Machines, not that that's a bad thing though, I'm definitely not asking for this card to be more generic. It can protect a machine from being destroyed by Limiter Removal, I thought it was worth noting. The Special Summon effect I'm not sure if it has a really good target that might abuse it, but at least for now it at least it is slow enough to work on your Draw Phase only. Not to mention I'm not a fan of not drawing so the exchange seems fair for now to me. If this card leaves the field: All battle damage you would receive this turn becomes 0 is reduced to zero. ^The first effect probably is a continuous effect like Maestroke's protection and only works to protect 1 monster even though it can be used when several monsters would be destroyed.
