Hello my name is Enguin
Right up there with Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness in the naming stakes. What they also do is combine nicely with Advance Force to get any level 7+ for essentially free which is interesting if not particularly strong. Zauls
I quite like the idea of these cards, but they were released about 8 years too late. I've been round for quite a while and know the old ways of Yu-Gi-Oh reasonably well and I think Dragon in particular would've shone pre-Glad Beast. Alas, they never really found a home. Perhaps in the very distant future they could synergise with something Rank 5-y, but even then I think only Dragon will ever be played because Beast misses timing and has low ATK. Hello my name is Enguin
I have only just noticed that Beast is only for battle destruction so that's a lot more useless than I had previously thought.
goodfusion
I use Dragon in my mediocre Psychic-Type deck IRL, and it is pretty cool there. I remember once when I was duelling a friend, he destroyed my monster by battle and I summoned this. He then attacked this and destroyed it, I then summoned it again with Rope of Life (lol), and the extra 800 ATK would have been enough to win me the game if it wasn't for Threatening Roar stopping me. Obviously, that's from an extremely casual standpoint, and I have no idea about their uses competitively. But they seem cool enough, as Dragon working off both effects and battle makes it pretty versatile. If it was just effects, I would say Meklord Emperor Wisel would be more useful. Toffee.
Why.... The funk.... Is Beast "When... You can...", and ONLY by battle? It's fragile enough as it is, because of it's Once-per-turn clause and self-Banish effect, but why go the extra mile to make it worse?
