Though at night when I went out in NYC half the people never saw me, which was kinda scary at times on the road. In high school, though, when I first got that ride, everyone tried to befriend me. Queen of the Abyss Posted August 10, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2015 How did you and Darkness meet?I have a long story with Darkness. Where do I start? Well, in about the summer before I went to Junior High, I ended up changing homes and families. My parents died while I was really young, in spite of having amazing lives and having a lot more wealth than one could ever imagine, so I had lived with a single mother who cared for me a lot throughout my years in elementary. However, this was Detroit, and as such I went with a new family who was close with my father. Long story short, new school, no friends. However, I kept up with the card shop nearby, where I competed a lot in Yu-Gi-Oh and had a couple of people there. We had a mini "Team" clique of sorts as a cute way of emulating the pros and they welcomed in Darkness. I never got to see him for a bit cause we never were at the same times meeting up, but eventually we did and connected a lot more than expected. He wasn't and still never was anyone pretty, but he had a strong charm to him that caught onto me. We never really officially declared ourselves dating, but it kinda just happened.
