1st gen: Red/Blue  Yellow (Pikachu)

2nd gen: Gold/Silver  Crystal (Suicune)

3rd gen: Ruby/Sapphire  Emerald (Rayquaza)

4th gen: Diamond/Pearl  ?

I think I have the answer.

Not too long ago, Nintendo copyrighted the name "Pokemon Opal". That's one damning piece of evidence, but what does it tell us?

Well...

Dialga has diamonds on its body.

Palkia has pearls on its body.

Now, what Pokemon do we know that has opals on its body, more specifically on its wings?

Giratina.

The evidence is incontrovertible.

Here are a few reasons why:

1. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina all have Dragon as their second type.

2. All three learn attacks every tenth level.

3. All three learn their "trademark" attack at level 40. (Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Shadow Force)

4. All three are based on precious jewels.

5. Dialga controls time, Palkia controls space. It doesn't seem to leave us with any other domain, but Giratina controls the dimensions, an even more widespread domain embodying both time and space.

6. The next Pokemon movie will feature Giratina.

7. All three can learn Aura Sphere, and they are some of the few that can.

8. They all have similar base stats, and the same base stat total.

Enough said.

Discuss.

I kind of already thought that the 3rd game will center on Giratina since their are so many similarities between him and Dialga and Palkia.

You also forgot:

That they have the same base states.

All are 1 of the few pokemon that can learn Aura Sphere (all at lv 90)

And some other info about Giratina in the up coming movie.

Go down. You'll know it when you see it.

@ Flame Dragon

Oh yeah, those too.

@ victorydragon

Where did you get the idea of Topaz from?

@ Kon

Really? I prefer the first form. BTW, the "snake" form is called the Origin form, but what's the other one called? I'm just calling it the Renegade form. :D

@ slayersupreme
