(This card is both Warrior and Fairy-Type) Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. During your opponent's turn, at damage calculation if this card is in your hand: you can take no battle damage from that battle and Special Summon this card from your hand (this is a Quick Effect). When an effect that would inflict damage to you is activated: You can special summon this card from your hand and if you do, you take no damage from that effect. If this card is special summoned: you can target 1 level 4 LIGHT monster in your graveyard; special summon it but its effects are negated. You can only use this effect of "Holy Guard" once per turn and if you activate this effect, you cannot activate non-LIGHT monster effects until the End Phase of the next turn.

 

Rulings notes:

- Having 2 monster types is a condition and thus cannot be negated. However monster type changing effects will override both monster types. eg DNA Surgery makes this card the declared type for DNA surgery and only that type.

- In case it wasn't clear from the text: There are no inherent restrictions on special summoning this card. eg, you can special summon it from the deck with Summoner Monk.
