If it comes to figuring out that you like one of your best friends over another one of your best friends, that is incredibly insulting to those parties. Yes, I value some friendships more than others, and specific reasons why, but I don't give name to that and I don't rate my friends better than others. It is an insult to everyone when you do this, and makes you seem like one of the biggest douches around, if friendships become nothing but ratings.
