Graydle Craft

WATER / Level 4

[Aqua / Effect]

Once per turn, if you control 2 other face-up "Graydle" cards: You can make the Level of This card 2, and if you do, this card is treated as a Tuner. These changes last until the End Phase. During the End Phase of the turn in which this card was Summoned, send it to the Graveyard. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Graydle" card from your Deck to your hand OR you can Special Summon 1 "Graydle" monster from your Deck, except "Graydle Craft". You can only activate this effect of "Graydle Craft" once per turn.

ATK 2000 / DEF 0.

What do I see here? A Leo/9-Volt for Graydles? cool stuff.

I sort of wish it wasn't Level4 because there aren't any Level4 Graydles and thus it somewhat conflicts with flavor, but it should be fine. Besides, as a Level4 instead of 3, it's more difficult to use it for Graydle Dragon along Slime and make this float, also keeps it ineligible for Surface.

The trick for making a Graydle Dragon with 2 non-Tuners and pop up to 3 cards is nice.

This card isn't supposed to replace any of the Graydles, nor should it honestly compete with any of them. It's to give them another card that can get things going/search combo pieces/etc. Also, for all intensive purposes, it's the UFO in Impact's artwork. It has 2000 because Slime is 0/2000, Cobra is 500/1500, Gator is 1000/1000 and Eagle is 1500/500. So naturally a 2000/0 would be next.

I'm not too familiar with Greydles myself, but as far as the card goes, I think it's alright. I agree with your logic for determining the attack of Craft being 2000, but still, it seems a tad high. I'm not going to suggest you change it though, but perhaps you could make it so it can't attack on the turn it's summoned? That way, you ensure it's only used for the tuning, etc.
