ÆƵ–
I'm not sure what kind of deck can have too may field spells (ghostrick maybe?), but i do know that most decks that have field spells want to keep them in case the one that's out (assuming you have a field out) gets blown up. However, I do feel that this card could make chicken race exodus even faster since instead of activating pseudo space they can just discard it for even more draws. Arimetal
I was thinking the same thing. But I was also thinking field reliant decks like Malefic or Earthbound (people play those!?) Or just some off the wall deck that has multiple fields. Say you have shaddolls and your playing chicken game, hidden spellcasters, and maybe even their field (No one gives it love either) that's 6-8 fields apx and they have terraforming. This could act as basic draw power with chicken game to make a small engine. (Again Chicken Game was a concern not a focus... But it does help)Anywho I wanted to make something for the decks that clog on fields (I know there are a few depending on the field) and I thought dumping it for a pot of greed was nice. goodfusion
Although the effect is very simple, the card is rather interesting. I find Field Spells difficult to manage in a deck: If you need it for your deck to work, you will put in multiples of them, maybe along with Terraforming/other searchers. However, this can easily lead to dead hands with too many Field Spells. Likewise, reducing the amount of Field Spells/Field Spell searchers in your deck can lead to not drawing it early enough! However, this card could promote running multiple Field Spells and Terraforming, while helping to prevent them being dead draws. I can easily imagine this being used as a draw engine in some decks.
