Here is my second Lord of Sin.

They are not compatible with one another, just represent their sin :)

[spoiler=Lord of Sin - Burning Wrath]

DARK / Fiend-Type

 2 or more (max. 3)  Level 4 Monsters

This cards original ATK is number of it's Xyz Materials x 1000. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Increase ATK of this card by 2000 until End Phase. If this card would be destroyed by battle with your opponent's attacking monster, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target that monster: destroy the target, and if you do; this card is not destroyed. (ATK ?/DEF 2500)

hope you like it!

please rate and comment :D

p.s. here is a link to my first Lord of Sin, if you want to see it. :)

Not a fan of the card, if only because it gets too close to Excalibur's and Diamond Crab's territory. I mean, more often than not, this will be played with 2 materials as a sort of generic Excalibur, which isn't cool for the latter; outclassing cards is not a good thing to do, unless of course, the card being outclassed is outright bad, but that's not the case for Excalibur in my opinion.

I have no fixes or ideas to suggest at the moment. Personally I would remove the ATK boost effect and put more emphasis on the second effect, but that would drastically change the card, something you may not want to do.

So uh, I'm not really thrilled by this card.

Summon with 2 mats, this is 2000.

Summon with 3 (in something like R4 spam) and this is 3000.

Detach, goes from minimum 4000 to 5000.

Wait... no... I don't know, maybe I wrote card bad, but whole idea was:

summon with 2 -> 2000, detach 1 -> goes to 1000 + 2000 (until end phase)

summon with 3 -> 3000, detach 1 -> goes to 2000 + 2000 (until end phase)

+

survival eff when it stays with 1 material

That was the plan I don't know where's mistake, please correct me :)

Uh, that's not any better either, it's a free 3000-4000 beat stick with a protection effect that takes no effort to summon at 3000.

I get it, any advice how to fix it? Or just not worth trying.

Point is to match Sin it represents. Wrath, anger, is short time strnght but than it makes you weaker then you were to begin with. That was the inspiration :)

And I didn't know that ATK is that important in today's meta, with pendulums, removals, etc.

Making it non-generic would work :526089_key:

Let's say, 2 Level 4 Fiends. It'd put it around the same level as cards such as Excalibur, which honestly is fine~ That said, I'm not that big a fan of its second effect. It doesnt really fit a big beater beatstick that will rarely ever be killed by anything but card effects.

Oh, you are correct: this wouldn't reach 4000 ATK when summoned with 2 materials. So, it is not as deadly as I first thought, but still, it's a lot like Diamond Crab if not better because of that second effect.

High ATK is still relevant because nowadays there as big monsters backed up by protection against effects, and thus the only way to tackle them is with a bigger monster.

If the concept is power from rage, then the second effect doesn't really suit it and feels a bit like an overkill when it is already a burst beater. I'm thinking you could replace it with making it target and destroy a monster when this card is destroyed by battle or monster effect, as a sort of revenge effect, but I'm not sure if it would be fair.

You're right, I tough about that. my first Sin Lord (synchro) needed dark tuner, so I meant to make this one's material dark, than again it would be too specific :)

No objections, I get it now :)

And about second effect, yeah, that doesn't really fit, but I feel like every STRONG monster need some kind of protection, otherwise it's pretty much feeder now. I wanted to make it protected but at the same time killable, so I gave it protection from attack, which can be useful when it has 1 material. if I gave it protect from effects, or something like Voltex suggested, I think it would make it highly  OP-ed.

Just my opinion, but I will change eff I you guys agree on what should I do
