shadowsapex
Illusion Invoker - Lvl 4, 1300/1800, Light, Spellcaster, Tuner- Once per turn: You can declare a word or phrase, except a card name; the names of all "Illusion Invoker" in your hand, deck, field, and graveyard become that word or phrase until the end of your opponent's next turn. The Ghostwriter
Dear duck, one may benefit from taking a look at the Yu-gi-oh card "Prohibition" and change it so that it does indeed use a card name. At least, the precedent is there for you to use. But, this is merely my opinion.
shadowsapex
Nah, the gimmick here is that it can be anything but a card name. Maybe it's not very useful, but I like the concept nontheless.Took me a while to figure out why you called me duck.
The Ghostwriter
Well, your avatar does indeed look to me like an unusual duck. But alas...
Darj
The effect is silly, indeed. But feels a bit inefficient to play. How about allow it to activate it form the hand as well? That way, you make it easier to play by skipping the need of summoning it first. For instance, instead of spending a Normal Summon in it, you could reveal from hand to activate its effect, call, let's say, "tellarknight" and Summon Altair to revive another copy of Illusion Invoker in the grave. That aside, the text used for the effect looks awkward because turning a monster's name into "Tellarknight", "X-Saber", etc. would be... weird. I suggest to instead treat the monster as including that word/phrase in its name, without overwriting it:"Illusion Invokers" in your hand, Deck, field, Graveyard [or banished] are treated as if they included the declared word(s) in their names.
