Four killed and multiple injuries in Oklahoma State crash. Driver charged with four counts of murder.

Of course, charges were going to be filed in this. However, I was a little surprised to see murder charges and not manslaughter charges. Probably a reason for that, though.

Surprised this wasn't mentioned yesterday as it happened (bar the charges).

 

Given the testimony from witnesses on news this afternoon (via CBS), it would appear that the driver intentionally accelerated into the group of people, and made no attempt to slow down. I'll take it that the prosecution decided to see this as an intentional ramming.

 

Though, like everything in the court of justice, let's see what other evidence is given before jumping to a decision.
