If your opponent's LP are higher than yours and has more total cards in their hand and their side of the field than you do: Pay 2000 LP; Reveal 1 card of each Type (Monster, Spell, and Trap) from your Deck, have your opponent randomly choose 1 of them, and add it to your hand, also shuffle the rest back into your Deck and your opponent takes no further damage this turn. You can only activate 1 "Painful Dilemma" per turn.

seems like fun, but i'd say make them have less than 3000 instead of more than 3000. the card is essentially a free searcher of any 3 cards you want to force your opponent into giving you, (making it worthy of immediate banlist attention) putting yourself at a severe disadvantage to use it seems fair (otherwise your 3 cards would inevitably end up being along the lines of warning, notice and something that furthers your archetype plays.). Painful choice is banned for a reason.

Infact, you may just want to make it a solid 1.5k to use while you're at or below 3k, that way you prevent abuse and really do give yourself a painful dilemma.

Vastly better, but you removed the cost for some reason. Your opponent being 3000 higher is easy to manage in a duel considering things like soul charge, the solemn series, and hope for escape can all drop your LP fast. if you want to go that route, then make it so that you still need to pay either a set amount or half.

I added an exciton-like requirment, but removed an specific lp difference- Now to activate dilemma you have to be in LP and card disadvantage.

Also gave the card a 2000 cost. Dont know if its enough, i want to make the card to be good so a player could consider playing more than 1 copy, but without abusing it

You appear to keep adding different clauses that aren't quite as solid as the one that came before them. your new clause is far easier to fulfill than the previous ones, but in counter to that, it's far more abuseable. the best two in combination that you've made so far were being at a 3000 deficit and paying half life. it allows multiple uses, prevents abuse (because it prevents OTK's) but increases the risk involved in using it because you're murdering yourself slowly. 

 

put simply, the effect you gave it requires it to possess a steep cost because it searches 1 of ANY 3 cards. Those two costs combined make you have to measure the cost/benefit to searching those 3 cards in case of negation, but allows the potential benefit to almost always balance out with the cost because if the combo you aspire to use goes off, you'll be able to build advantage better. with those particular restrictions, using it is a gamble, but similar to an actual gamble, the cards you could potentially get will more than likely be worth the cost (seeing as they'll likely be increasing your advantage)
