1 "Cyberdark" monster + 1 Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster
Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Fusion Summoned: Banish all Machine-Type monsters in the Graveyards, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of monsters banished x 300. Unaffected by Spell/Trap effects and by effects from any monster whose original Level/Rank is lower than this card's current Level.

 

 

I had this card around and decided to look at it again. Instead of the last effect, it originally Summoned a Machine-Type monster in a similar fashion to REDMD, but I found such effect bland and boring. Then I thought about the poor recently banned "Apoqliphort Towers" and realized that I would be nice to take a similar approach instead, which would also be fitting/flavorful considering the name I had given to the card, "Apocalypse".

 

Some perks and trivia going for this card:

- It has 3100 ATK to conveniently get over "Kozmo Dark Destroyer".

- 2100 DEF as a reference to Cyber Dragon's 2100 ATK.

- Can be Special Summoned by "Overload Fusion".

- The banish & burn effect is mandatory, it also affects both graves.

- The protection effect is slightly better than Towers as it also includes Continuous monster effects, as long as their Level/Rank is lower.

- On the other hand, unlike Towers this is Level9, so it's vulnerable to the effects of Level/Rank10 monsters.

Apart from red eyes and cyber dragon having no synergy i like this card

Keep in mind you can use red eyes fusion and use CD and REBD from your deck to summon this card,  the monster  inmunity is even stronger than towers' (at least it was inmune only to activated effects)

The idea of fusion CyDra with Red-Eyes Dragon comes from the artwork mostly, also from the fact that both are materials for multiple fusions: CyDra has the Twin, End versions and the Chimeratechs, while Red-Eyes has Meteor and B. Skull.

 

Ah right, Red-Eyes Fusion. I made this way before that card existed so I overlooked it when updating the card. I don't know how to play around that Fusion Spell at the moment.

 

And yes, this carries a version of Towers effect with more coverage; that was intended, and I suppose should be acceptable, given the cards you have to tech to access this Fusion.

 

 

EDIT:

I suppose I can replace the "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" requirement with a DARK Dragon-Type, possibly Level7 or higher, and also Normal if I want to keep it more strict.

 

 

EDIT2:

Decided to turn it into a Cyberdark instead, an archetype that not only badly needs support in my opinion, but also conveniently plays around both CyDra and Red-Eyes support.
