Do or Die!

Spell/Normal

You can reveal this card from your hand: Add this card to your opponent's hand, and if you do, it must stay revealed and cannot be Set or leaves your opponent's hand except being activated. During either player's End Phase: If this card is revealed while in hand; inflict 500 damage to the player who reveal this card. If this card is activated: Your opponent target 1 card you control; destroy it.

Kind of weird ideas of Spell that forces your opponent either burn damage each turn or pop*ing 1 card they control.

Not sure about any other cards interactions with this, so screw that!

What do you think guys?

I'm not sure about the last line. If it's activated, your opponent gets to choose a card you control OR does it mean that the opponent is you (so You choose a card to destroy)?

The activator is the controller of this card, if you activate the 1st eff (reveal and add to your opponent's hand), then the opponent becomes the controller, so they become the activator (and your opponent in the last part becomes you, the original owner's).

So your opponent has 2 choice:

> Either keep the card revealed in hand and takes 500 damage each turn, OR

> Activate it, but your opponent (that means you, the original owner) target 1 card they control and pop* it.

So yes, do it (activate the card) or die! (take the burn damage).

The text/effect may be a bit confusing, but you can grasp what i mean here.

Makes sense. I think the wording is correct.

So basically, a slower Lava Golem with a self-popping effect. If it's you who would activate it, then there could be some interestng interactions, but it's generally a very tough decision for the opponent.

Letting them choose their card instead of you would make more sense. Even this way, however, it's a design that seems a little 'selfish'. Like: ''I give you two choices, either way you won't benefit."
