Fukato
Normal Spell CardTarget 1 Set monster on the field; flip it face-up. If it was a Normal Monster: Draw 2 cards. If it is not: Banish 3 cards, 1 each from your hand, field, and Graveyard. Flip effects are not activated at this time. You can only activate 1 "A Rare Loot" per turn. Dova
Very interesting card, although I'm not sure on the effect it would have on Normal Monster decks ATM. What position would it flip it to?
Fukato
As Swords of Revealing Light worded it, it would flip them into face-up Defense Position even though it isn't specified (unless Swords of Revealing Light has been specified that I do not know of). There is Igknights that can use it since they are considered Normal Monsters, or maybe it doesn't have to be for Normal Monsters and use its other effect to banish cards you have for who knows what reason. EndUser
Indeed, the monster is just flipped face-up in Defence Position (there are many card effects written this way). Banishing would be a thing if an Archetype would really benefit from it, or if Chaos Zone and cards that SS banished monsters were used. Neither is the case, so this drawback is just too much. It could be in good synergy with cards that SS monsters face-down (can't remember if Ghostricks are appealing candidates) or with cases like Igknights, Magicians and an other family of Pendulum Monsters I can't remember of. Just make the efdect to draw 2 cards and discard 1, so basically a better Book of Taiyou. (Pendulum decks often don't care with a wasted NS if they can search/draw cards, so drawing 2 is flawless here.)
