Flame Dragon
Terrorism is a serious issue for this country. The source of it though isn't Muslims. Look at the mass shootings of the year and it obvious they aren't the leading cause. I want to know what they mean by "terrorism" when they say they fear becoming a victim. If they are thinking ISIS terrorists, they are fearing nothing. You mean like refugees already do? I seriously wonder how many people know how long it take for refugees to get into the country. Or that we've been taking refugees in for many years. What do they want them to do to oppose it? Seriously, thats such an asinine idea. What ideals of Islam are at odds with American ideas? Like, that such an empty statement. GIVE EXAMPLES. This all makes me very sad...... :/
Sethera
I mean, every single Muslim I've ever met has been super nice and overall a better person than most other people I've met. One of my best friends is a Muslim too, and she's amazing, so it's really difficult for me to think that Islam is at odds with American values. And when I think "American values" I think of the melting pot thing, so yeah. I agree terrorism is a problem, but most of it in this country seems to come from people with mental health problems, not Muslims.
