Normally, I would tell you to just edit your old thread, but since that one is flooded with cards, I'll make an exception this time.

(However, I will be locking that thread)

Now, where to begin.

Bulbasaur is Galaxy-Eyes Cloud Dragon for Pokemon, and Tuner for Charizard (which doesn't really fit thematically).

Would make more sense if Venusaur was a Synchro itself, and this was used as the material for it.

Seed of Hope recycles stuff that gets banished (namely the first stages), and is treated as an Xyz Monster for Venusaur.

Well, I guess it helps with the alt. condition because there is no reasonable way you are making it properly.

Venusaur only has Charizard to go into it, given its materials, but it becomes a 3100/3600 ATK monster. To be fair though, it is really lacking.

We are past the age where simple stat boosts mean anything, and to be fair, the current Rank 8 pool is more convincing than Venusaur at present.

Charmander is very much restricted to Charizard (and whatever Fire Pokemon you have right now), and again, stat boosting is very much outdated.

If Blast Burn didn't have the Pokemon restriction, it would be a pretty crazy endgame card in most, if not all, relevant FIRE decks.

Though, that could be fixed by adding a restriction on how many you can banish. (Though this card would still have the same implications later on as-is, when you add more.)

Charizard is effectively a Raigeki for anything with less than 2800 DEF (which is essentially most relevant monsters, bar Superheavies and stuff).

With the cards present though, only way you're making Charizard is Bulba + 3 Charmander.

(I have to mention Raigeki because this card's effect is essentially that, but with the side effect of killing your Battle Phase)

You need to mention where Squirtle is being summoned from (I am assuming the hand). On paper, it looks nice but it requires that you have WATER Pokemon out (and right now, it's only it and Blastoise). You could change it to just Pokemon monsters or something, so you can protect your other 'mons as well.

Aqua Breach is interesting, since it blocks attacks and recycles your resources (although at present, it isn't very good due to the limited resources).

Blastoise's alt. condition is virtually impossible to make (and regular one isn't worth the effort). I mean, if you want to keep it as an Xyz, you could just have Squirtle become the material itself (with some other stuff). Or better yet, just make it a Synchro Monster (and Squirtle a Tuner). The protection effect is good though.

-----

I know you want to keep it close to the actual games, but there are limits to how well you can do that without cutting into their overall usability.

I'd recommend just changing the first stage starters into Tuners, and their final forms as Synchros.

It is possible to convert Pokemon into Yugioh form (like I showed you in the last thread), but that means sacrificing some aspects of the game + making it viable for playing reasons.

Mine only did fully evolved Pokes (and legendaries), with the exception of Eevee, because it would be too much of a pain to do every single Pokemon in the game.

One thing you can do is just adapt their effects based on the moves they learn (whether it's a general thing or specific movesets like you'd see on Smogon OU or something). Or like we mentioned earlier, just give them realistic Types and they'll have access to the usual support cards that might help them do things.

You have more coming, but for right now, the cards need a good amount of work.

Thnx for the quick response, let me comment again on yours:

I might make it that squirtly becomes a low lvl xyz so it may create blastoise, but i rather keep blastoise as is.

Since i'll be making a ton of cards, making them have their own non-existing type isn't that big of a deal because there will be enough interaction between them, other people (like yourself) will focus on making pokemon cards who can blend in other decks, i'll focus on making a big amount that can interact very well with eachother.

Charizard may look OP, then again i based him on "hot red dragon archfiend", I might make his effect global instead of enemy only if proven to strong.

i make it possible to create the pokemon through other means then using their pre-evolution ones, but i might rework bulbasaur to make him considered an xyz in the grave and change up the effect Of the spell a little. My goal is to make it obvious that using the pre-evolve stages is the best way to get (or buff) the final one, although you can build around it.

Many of your critisism is also based around the lack of cards to play with, but keep in mind these are coming, so this will sort out itself.

i'm very grateful of the attention you're giving it though, i will not give up completing this set, even if it is only to play with friends eventualy.

Good suggestion on the capital, i'll try my best to implement it then (but doing all of them will be much so don't expect direct results).

Indeed using Haunter in flip decks would be quite strong :)

Changes on Bulbasaur, Seed of hope, Charmander, Squirtle, Machop, Magikarp and Vulpix
