Description: Funguspark utilizes mass summoning of tokens to do their bidding. Unlike other token decks, the tokens serve as their main source of power, often sporting more daunting stats than the monsters themselves; however, this is due to the support the monsters themselves give the tokens. Since tokens can't be Xyz materials, they instead perform Synchro Summons (and thus, most of the Funguspark cards are tuners). This allows for rapid Synchro and ease around opponents' plays. Deck: [spoiler=Monsters] When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Spore Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0) You can banish this card from your graveyard: Send 1 WIND Plant-Type monster from your deck to the graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Funguspark Lichenskipper" once per turn. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Spore Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0). During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; change the battle position of all Tokens you control. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Spore Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0) You can banish this card from your graveyard, then target any number of Tokens you control; destroy those targets, then return monsters your opponent controls to their hand, up to the number of cards targetted by this effect. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Spore Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0) During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your graveyard; draw cards equal to the number of "Spore Tokens" you control. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by tributing 1 "Spore Token" you control. You can Special Summon this card (from your graveyard) by tributing 2 "Funguspark" monsters and/or "Spore Tokens." "Spore Tokens" you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. Whenever a "Spore Token(s)" is Special Summoned: you can target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. [spoiler=Spells] "Funguspark" monsters, and "Spore Tokens" you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, while you control a "Funguspark" monster: You can Special Summon 1 "Spore Token" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0). You cannot Synchro Summon during the turn you activate this effect, except WIND monsters. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Spore Token" you control and declare a level from 1-11; the targetted monster becomes that level, but it cannot be used as an Xyz material monster this turn. You can only activate 1 effect of "Funguspark Hamlet" per turn, and only once that turn. Special Summon "Spore Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0), up to the number of "Spore Tokens" you currently control. You can only activate 1 "Funguspark Path" per turn. Equip only to a "Spore Token." The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF. When this card is sent to the graveyard: You can add 1 "Funguspark" monster from your deck to your hand. [spoiler=Trap] Discard 1 card; "Funguspark" monsters and "Spore Tokens" you control cannot be destroyed by battle and are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. You cannot Normal Summon/Set, or activate Spell Cards. During your Main Phase: You can destroy this card. Once per turn: You can tribute 1 "Spore Token" you control; select 1 card on the field and shuffle it into the deck. 1 "Funguspark" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monstersWhen this card is Synchro Summoned: You can add 1 "Funguspark" Spell/Trap card from your deck to your hand. "Spore Tokens" you control gain 1000 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can tribute 1 "Spore Token" you control; Special Summon 1 "Funguspark" monster in your graveyard. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. Strategy: The deck mainly...well, summons tokens. There really isn't much else to it. oftentimes, one simply makes one-card Synchros, which is fun, but an OTK can be performed that actually utilizes Tokens as beatsticks. With the equip spell and both synchros, up to 3 Tokens get direct 2000 point attacks, which each become 3000 if the field spell is active. Under some conditions, they even become invulnerable to other cards. Support: Lonefire, Miracle Fertilizer, plants in general. They have banish effects, so some Sylvans might be helpful. I know there are cards that help out tokens a lot, but I don't know if they would be consistent. Weaknesses: Floodgates, Torrential Tribute, higher attack-point monsters. You have the wrong image for you Trap, it's showing the Equip Spell. Shame the bosses don't buff the cards themselves, but I guess the effects work. Let's start by looking at other Plant-Type WIND monsters. The Special Summoning sets up plays for Tribute Summoning, allowing you to Summon Tytanniel. Ofc, the deck also works well Bird of Roses, with most of the actual monsters being Tuners. Copy Plant might make a nice addition to the deck as well, being able to change its level. Let's not forget SPLENDID ROSE, the Level 6 Plant Synchro, which focuses on lowering ATK. Not too many shenanigans, but might wanna watch out for Tribute Summoning ^^ (Also, Spore) Token Feastevil could cause some major burn with this Deck, especially in combination with Black Garden. For the cards themselves, it's an pretty interesting idea, but has some major combinations with cards today, maybe you should try them out and see how it goes? In all honesty, I would envision strategies more practical than tribute summoning. Many of them are a one-card synchro (particularly Lumbermate being an insta-trishula), which is amplified by cards like Miracle Fertilizer, Summoner Monk, and Lonefire Blossom. Is it a Continous Trap, in which case the effect is fine, or is it a normal Trap, in which case the protection needs to end, preferably at the End phase?
