Cannot be targeted by card effects. When your opponent Summons a monster(s): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the Level/Rank of the Summoned monster(s) x 300. Your opponent cannot destroy cards they control. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster you control: This card's Level becomes equal to that card's current Level until the End Phase. During your End Phase: Destroy this card.


 


I don't know really. It's some kind of thing and gets really big off a pendulum summon while also stopping the likes of Wavering Eyes and Wizard. Think the non-targeting on a potentially very large body may be a bit much, was thinking to do a kind of Beast Machine King Barbaros thing where it doesn't do any battle damage and just becomes a wall. Eghghghgh.


 


Just posting it to see, the Tragoedia-esque level copying is to make it a more practical thing to use but that could present problems having no cost as it just gives you a free Xyz material on your opponent's turn which they may not be able deal with. Think that should probably have a cost added but not sure what do with that. Anyway, any comments are good comments.

I'll be the one to break that silence, then. This card is obviously an anti-pepe or anti-pendulum card. Gaining ridiculous attack and defense off of a mass summon and preventing the opponent from destroying their own cards is obviously there to stop Plushfire, Pendulum Sorcerer, and Ignister plays, Ignister also being the only out to this card that deck has besides a mass destruction card like Raigeki. 

 

The untargetable part of the effect might be overkill, however then you aren't doing much to stop their plays because Castel just rips this thing a new one. I'd recommend a self destruct type of effect during the end phase of your turn to make sure it's not an impossible to remove floodgate with insane attack and it would give the player incentive to use the level modulating effect to make use of it before it offs itself.

That last thing you mention there about it popping itself at your own end phase, that's perfect. It does solve the problem you mention and keeps it fairly balanced as at most you can try swing with it and then Xyz or synch or whatever, or it's just gone. I didn't think of giving it that kind of clause but I knew it did need something to stop it just being a huge wall and that's a great way of going about it. Much appreciated.

300 per Level or Rank is rather unimpressive, for something that is basically a glass cannon with a "lol fak u pends" effect randomly slapped onto it.

Like, let me put it this way....

You don't need to play other monsters to boost This card, since it itself is an 8, so assuming it survives the turn, it's ATK will only really hit 2400, when it's going to destroy itself in the End Phase.

It... Doesn't really seem like it's worth trying to make use of it's ATK gimmick, since it can already do a job by itself/you honestly wont care what happens next.

 

You can get away with like, having it gain 500 ATK per Level/Rank, since I get the impression you want This to act like a wall; Level 4s would put This at 2000 by default, and would force your opponent to wasting an out to This card, instead of just Summoning something stronger, since 1600 is underwhelming.

Though, if you do wish to take my suggestion, I'd suggest not letting it pick itself for it's other effect, since it would require you to play other high-Level monsters(as you mentioned earlier) to make use of it. Since letting it pick itself would defeat the purpose of that idea.

Armz, this thing gains 300 for every level of all the summoned monsters if there are multiple summoned at the same time. A pend summon for 3 level 4 monsters puts this at 3600/3600. On top of that, it can't be targeted and it invalidates Ignister as an out. 

 

It's supposed to be sort of a Gorz to punish very large pendulum summons.
