So I decided I would challenge myself, try to make myself a better card maker: I'm going to try to create a custom archetype for every Extra Deck summoning method (I'm skipping Ritual mainly because it's the deck type I know the least about, and I'm not sure I could do it justice). So today I'm starting with the first Extra Deck method we ever got, using an idea I've had for a while: Fusion, and Necro Pirates! Comments and feedback, as always, are great, and I hope you like the cards! Let me know if you think they have any balancing issues, underpowered or overpowered! I love any feedback. [spoiler=The Scallywag Crew! (MAIN DECK MONSTERS)] Necro Pirate Phantom RiggerLevel 3, WATER ZombieOnce per turn, you can target 1 Set card in your opponent's Spell and Trap Card Zones for every 2 "Necro Pirate" monsters in your Graveyard: Reveal them, and return 1 to the hand. When this card is returned to the Deck, target 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls: Destroy it. You can only use each effect of "Necro Pirate Phantom Rigger" once per turn.700/300 Necro Pirate Spooky LookoutLevel 3, WATER ZombieWhen this card is returned to the Deck: Add 1 "Necro Pirate" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Necro Pirate Spooky Lookout". You can discard this card during your opponent's Main Phase: Target monster your opponent controls loses 800 ATK and it's effects are negated, until the End Phase. You can only use each effect of "Necro Pirate Spooky Lookout" once per turn.800/1400 Necro Pirate Nightmare NavigatorLevel 4, WATER ZombieWhen this card is Normal Summoned: Send 1 "Necro Pirate" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. When a "Necro Pirate" monster is Fusion Summoned, you can return this card in your Graveyard to your Deck, and if you do: Send 3 "Necro Pirate" monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard, except "Necro Pirate Nightmare Navigator". You can only use the effect of "Necro Pirate Wisp Gunner" once per turn.1900/1000 Necro Pirate Shadow BoarderLevel 4, WATER ZombieYou can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls: It loses 200 ATK and DEF for every "Necro Pirate" monster in your Graveyard. When this card declares an attack, you can target 1 "Necro Pirate" monster in your Graveyard: Return it to the Deck, and change all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls to face-up Defense Position. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card: Send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.2300/1900 Necro Pirate Hellfire HelmsmanLevel 8, WATER Zombie1 "Necro Pirate" Fusion monster + 1 Zombie-Type monsterOnce during either player's turn, you can return 2 "Necro Pirate" monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck: Negate the effects of all other face-up cards, until the End Phase. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card: Send the top 7 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.2700/2200 Necro Pirate SkelecaptainLevel 9, WATER Zombie1 "Necro Pirate" Fusion Monster + 2 Zombie-Type monstersWhile you have 5 or more monsters in your Graveyard, this card cannot be targeted by card effects. You can return 1 "Necro Pirate" monster from your Graveyard to your Deck to negate the activation and effect of an opponent's card during your turn, and destroy it. When a "Necro Pirate" monster is returned to the Deck, target 1 card your opponent controls: Destroy it. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card: Send the top 10 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.3200/2800 [spoiler=The Tools of the Pirate Trade! (SPELLS AND TRAPS)] Underworld OceanField SpellOnce per turn: Send 1 "Necro Pirate" monster from your Deck to your Graveyard. When 1 or more "Necro Pirate" monsters are returned from your Graveyard to your Deck: Target "Necro Pirate" monster you control gains 100 ATK for every returned monster, until the End Phase. Oath of PiracySpellSend the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if none of them are "Necro Pirate" monsters: Discard a card. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, and if you do: Send 2 "Necro Pirate" monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard. Typh-usionSpellFusion Summon 1 "Necro Pirate" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by returning Fusion Materials listed on it from your side of the field or your Graveyard to the Deck. You can only activate 1 "Typh-usion" per turn. Necro CannonCounter TrapWhen a face-up "Necro Pirate" monster you control is targeted by an opponent's card effect: Negate that effect, then send 1 "Necro Pirate" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.
