Activate this card when your opponent would Pendulum Summon 1 or more monsters: Negate the summon and if you do, your opponent banishes all pendulum cards in his hand and field, then both players remove from play all cards of the same name as the removed from play cards from their decks. Skip your next Main Phase 1 and Main Phase 2.

probably OP as hell.

Well from where Pendulums are at now, Konami, even on strange whim, would not do this until they were moving on to a new mechanic... But, then again I remember this is Casual Cards: so I will acknowledge your Pendulum hatred and I will let you dream of their infernal extinction. ;)  Muhahahahaha~

There is a card already out there that kind of does this, but with more flexibility instead of punishing a player for 1 particular mechanic usage: "Dark Fall" (though it suffers a stricter condition to activate).

It is balanced as it only punishes someone for using the Pendulum mechanic and it has something that prevents you from setting up on your next turn... But, this is a mechanic that is, as implied before,  being highly circulated by players competing in the meta. This alone would drastically affect how people play Pendulums currently... "Dark Fall"  doesn't even merit this as it's requirement is a bit stiff as you have to Special Summon 2 or more to pull off the condition (which gives leeway to Pendulum player who just wants to Pend Summon 1 monster to play things safe, you know?).

Well, now we have stuff like EmEm, Igknights, Qli, Majespecter, Amorphage and whatever else; first of the pack is pretty much meta at present.

(Think BOSH released in the TCG today, so yeah)

In any case, this is pretty much Solemn Notice coupled with a mass Chain Destruction that banishes, so in a way, it is indeed overpowering.

Even in the worst case scenario, this pretty much maims a lot of key cards in certain Decks (though, I suppose it would discourage swarming and all).

You lose your Main Phases though, so after playing this, you'll just have to trigger any Quick-Plays you have during the Standby Phase, battle or end your turn at that point.

But depending on the circumstances, loss of your Main Phases may not matter as much (if you already got a board set up), or if your opponent's Deck already got shredded.

Yeah, moving this to OP'd cards.

Though I'll be honest; I don't really care for EmEm, mainly because they OTK like nobody's business and makes playing less fun (also doesn't help that nearly everyone in those tournaments Winter posts links to is playing them).
