Darj
Dropping a text fix: During the Battle Phase, when an opponent's Trap Card is activated that destroys a monster you control: Target 1 monster on the field; negate the activation of that card, and if you do, destroy the targeted monster. However, I took some liberties on the fix, such as making it target during the card's activation, since you actually cannot target a card at the middle of the resolution of an effect; also the original effect doesn't state if the new target should be an appropriate target for the negated Trap Card or not, so I just went for a generic "target 1 monster on the field". Fix aside, I find this card too situational to be any good. The coverage it offers is limited, and you may as well run other kind of Counter Traps with more flexibility before this one.But if you increase its flexibility, for example by allowing it to also stop Spell and Monster effects that would destroy a monster you control during the Battle Phase, then it could become a decent side deck or meta call card against decks that rely on destruction during the Battle Phase. As you can see I've just used your "text fix" and add Spell cards and Monster card effects.

May I suggest to write just "when your opponent activates a card effect that destroys..." instead of "when an opponent's card effect is activated that destroys" (it sounds bad)? I will use your example.
