LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Thanks once more to the statuses for giving me an idea for thread.More or less, what do you think makes a good leader of a country? And who, if any, of the leaders of the world should be considered the "best" leaders whatever part of the world they're from has had? Why?
~ P O L A R I S ~
As far as American presidents go, It'd be dishonest to call someone the best of something when they're really the least awful, but JFK must have been doing things right given what happened to him. epicmemesbro
Hmmmm Well to make a good leader, you have to get things done. It might not be what others want, but if one has the power, they can do so. Ones legacy can also play a crucial role in their greatness. I'd say Genghis Khan for instance. He may not have had complete control but his empire was one of the largest the world has seen. To think he started with a small group of nomads to uniting a culture to continental domination is awe inducing. Hmmm for this country I would say Jefferson, but I found out some rather disturbing ideologies of him as of late so no.I'm iffy with FDR, but Reagan for sure. I'd also say Lenin, for similar reasons of Khan's, I'd also say Putin, he may be relentless, but he possesses a shrewdness of based proportions. Raine
Napoleon is IRL Lelouch, there is no comparison to me: Napoleon escaped from Elba, with 700 men over him, in the brig Inconstant on 26 February 1815.[163][164][165] Two days later, he landed on the French mainland at Golfe-Juan and started heading north.[163]The 5th Regiment was sent to intercept him and made contact just south of Grenoble on March 7, 1815. Napoleon approached the regiment alone, dismounted his horse and, when he was within gunshot range, shouted to the soldiers, "Here I am. Kill your Emperor, if you wish."[166] The soldiers quickly responded with, "Vive L'Empereur!" Ney, who had boasted to the restored Bourbon king, Louis XVIII, that he would bring Napoleon to Paris in an iron cage, affectionately kissed his former emperor and forgot his oath of allegiance to the Bourbon monarch. The two then marched together towards Paris with a growing army.

It would go Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Washington, Reagan I do really respect President Obama for the Gun control legislation, but one right does not excuse 7 years of wrong
epicmemesbro
Funny how our top three are the same. It would go Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Washington, Reagan I do really respect President Obama for the Gun control legislation, but one right does not excuse 7 years of wrong I'd go Teddy Roosevelt, his ambition served him well, Reagan shows that moderates can achieve bipartisan legislation, and Lincoln as honorable mention. FDR's use of executive orders are questionable. Jackson was so-so but his actions kinda outweigh his achievements. If I had to choose bad ones: Grant, Polk, and Hoover.
