Does anyone remember in Zexal where Yuma had to fight the Triad of Terror: Coyote, Jaguar, and Wolves-bane? If not, it was in the semi-finals of the World Duel Carnival where Vetrix hired the triad to test Yuma's power. During the duel, we see Wolves-bane use "Magnet Fusion" to FUSION SUMMON a monster, in a Yugioh anime where everyone was using Xyz until the Duel Coaster. Yuma, along with Anna and Nistro managed to beat the triad with an Xyz monster. Then, in the final episode of Zexal, Yuma and Astral head of to fight an unknown enemy that's invading Astral World. Conclusion: The Triad of Terror are students of duel academy. After being beaten by Yuma, the Triad probably told Leo Akaba a really biased story that victimized the Triad. Furious, Leo Akaba planned an attack when the Xyz dimension was at its weakest (the aftermath of the Don Thousand battle). In other words, this war is nothing more than the temper tantrum of a sore loser(s). If you'd like to, you can comment on this theory and add in any info you might have of your own theories.
