Thomas★Zero
Frightfur Mad Chimeratect Behemoth lv 10 DARK Fiend/Fusion/Effect 3 or more "Frightfur" Fusion monsters Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This cards ATK and DEF become equal to the number of Fusion Materials used to summon this card times 1000. If this card attacks or is attacked, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, you can send 2 "Frightfur" monsters from your Extra Deck to your graveyard; all "Frightfur" monsters you control can attack your opponent directly this turn. If you use this effect: all battle damage dealt to your opponent by a "Frightfur" monster is halved this turn. ATK/? DEF/?
evilfusion
Ooh...no, no. This is...not good at all. And I feel obligated to try to review/criticize it a little. It's a Level 10 for some reason. Which is fine, I guess? Doesn't seem to make any thematic sense, since right now, the highest Level Frightfur is Level 8. It needs 2 or more Frightfurs as Material. That's...at least fitting the theme that the Fusions requiring Frightfurs are Level 8+, according to Frightfur March. Here's where things get...just mediocre. It has to be Fusion Summoned with the listed Materials, and it can't be SSed by any other means. That's okay, although it does mean it can't be used with Frightfur March, if that remotely mattered, but the reason for that clause becomes clear with the next part. Its ATK and DEF start as undefined, and it gains 1000 ATK per Fusion Material used. THIS is where the card is terrible. You're Summoning this with Frightfur Materials. If you use the minimum of 2 Frightfurs, it only has 2000 ATK, which is pathetically underwhelming for a Fusion that required 2 or more Fusion monsters, each of which have, on their own, a MINIMUM of 2000 ATK. And if you're using 3 or more Frightfurs, you were definitely using Frightfur Fusion, and the Deck has significantly better options to kill the opponent than using Frightfur Fusion for this. For a similar, but less costly and more flexible investment, you could drop an indestructible Sabre-Tooth and revive a second Frightfur. Or heck, bring out Mad Chimera with only 200 less ATK. It then has the same ability as Mad Chimera and Frightfur Sheep, in locking the opponent from activating card effects when it battles. Again, begs the question of why you're even using this instead of your plethora of other OTK/finishing blow options, including but not limited to Mad Chimera itself. Oh, there we go, the last effect. Banish 2 Frightfurs from your Extra Deck to attack directly. ...What? Oh, but if you do that, halve damage. WHAT? I know this is a written card and maybe not intended to be ridiculously powerful, but...it just doesn't offer anything at all to the Deck. It's a Fusion that requires all Fusion Materials, gets a mediocre ATK score based on the number of Fusion Materials, is only slightly easier to Summon than Mad Chimera, despite being a reference to an UPGRADED Mad Chimera (based on its name and Level), and its only benefit in its favor is being allowed to direct attack if you banish Frightfurs from your Extra Deck (which you don't even WANT to do), but with such a mediocre ATK score and halving damage, this is just...superfluous to the extreme. So yes, my thoughts is this card is not remotely powerful ENOUGH to be worth the investment required to play it. Frightfur Fusion is the only reason you'll ever consider Summoning this, and Frightfur Fusion is so flexible that even as a mediocre finisher monster, this card is just bad. The cost to attack directly goes against the Deck's goals (at least sending them to the Graveyard would set up Sabre Tooth or Mad Chimera plays), the ATK boost is not high enough to be worth the Frightfurs used to Summon it, and it halves damage which makes that ATK boost even more insignificant. You could maybe change the effect to allowing all your Frightfurs to attack directly (but halve damage). Then cards that buff Frightfur ATK, such as Sabre Tooth or Tiger will get a double benefit by appearing alongside this card.
