Mokey Mokey World

Spell/Feild

- When this card is activated you can add one mokey mokey card to your hand exept "Mokey Mokey world". You can target one Mokey Mokey monster you control, destroy it, and if you do special summon two mokey mokey monsters from your deck. You can only use each effect of Mokey Mokey world once per turn

 

Mokey Mokey sage

Monster/effect

lv1 light fairy

300 attack. 100 defense

- This cards name is treated as Mokey Mokey while on the field or in the graveyard. Once per turn you can tribute this card, and if you d fusion summon one Mokey Mokey fusion monster using monsters from your hand field or deck as fusion materials. Once per turn if this card is in your graveyard, you can target 1 Mokey Mokey monster you control, destroy it, and if you do special summon this card from the graveyard, If summoned this way this card can attack your opponent's life points directly.

 

Golden Mokey Mokey

Monster/effect

lv1 light fairy

300 attack. 100 defense

- This cards name is treated as Mokey Mokey while on the field or in the graveyard. If this card in your possession is destroyed you can draw one card. Once per turn you can target one mokey mokey monster you control, destroy it, and if you do add 1 mokey mokey card from your deck to your hand.

 

Enraged Mokey Mokey

Monster/effect

lv1 Light Fairy

300 attack 100 defense

-this card's name is treated as Mokey Mokey while on the field or in the graveyard. If this card in your possession is destroyed. you can you destroy cards your opponent controls equal to the number of mokey mokey cards you control. Once per turn you can target one other Mokey Mokey monster you control and if you do this card can attack twice in each battle phase this turn.

 

Mokey Mokey God

Monster/Xyz/Effect

Rnk1 light fairy

-2 lv 1 mokey Mokey monsters

-this card's name is treated as Mokey Mokey while it is on the field or in the graveyard Mokey Mokey monsters you control deal piercing damage. Once per turn detach one xyz material, then you can target one mokey mokey monster you control Destroy it and if you do banish one card from your opponent's hand(at random) field or graveyard.

 

 

This is my first time Posting on this forum and would like some advice on how to balance these cards to make them meta worthy. If I can get them good I can try coding them into Ygo pro and playtesting them against the meta.

Let's fix up your OCG a bit, shall we?

 

Please note that I will be using hybrid PSCT (which includes numbering, as to make it easier to read effects and cut down on text that needs to be written); otherwise, it is equivalent to the standard form that TCG uses.
 
Mokey Mokey World
Spell/Field

You can only use each effect of "Mokey Mokey World" once per turn.
(1) When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Mokey Mokey" card [from your Deck] to your hand, except "Mokey Mokey World".

(2) You can target 1 "Mokey Mokey" monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 2 "Mokey Mokey" monsters (from your Deck).

(1) "Mokey Mokey" monsters you control inflict piercing battle damage.

(2) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Mokey Mokey" monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, banish 1 card from your opponent's hand, field or Graveyard. (The card in the hand is chosen at random)

Some things to ask before I get into the actual reviews:

  • Where are you adding the card from when World activates? By default, I put Deck but if you (also) want to add from the Graveyard, you need to mention this.
  • ATK/DEF of Mokey Mokey God; assuming it's 300/100 as well, but needs to be explicitly stated.

 

I think certain members will be happy that you did retrain them, but because this is CC, I have to give some critique.

 

Smackdown loves these guys (assuming you keep one up) and turns them into OTK engines of sorts (given their destruction effects), which I assume was the intent behind these. Oh, and King has a lot more monsters it can revive, which helps.

 

I worry about how Enraged's effect can end up being a massive field nuke, especially since it effectively doesn't target. Considering the amount of destruction effects these cards can already do with themselves, coupled with the pluses that you get off of things, it is a bit much (though this would require you have the board set up). I'd make it a hard OPT though, but I do see it being useful in blowing up certain boards.

 

Sage is nice for bringing out the King, though you'll need to keep the original MMs in the Deck or get the retrains out on the field.

 

Golden is a nice searcher and nets a card when it blows up. Oh wait, it can blow itself up and net 2 cards (searches a card because of its own effect, then draws because of its [1] effect). I'd probably say change that 2nd effect to target another MM you control, much like the others are. Though, it goes well with the Field; pop this and SS 2 MMs, then draw another card.

 

God allows your MMs to pierce and hit the opponent's resources by detaching stuff, which helps. Combo'd with Smackdown, it'll help with game finishers and the like.

 

I'm not sure if the stuff you gave them will be enough to make them relevant in the current gamestate (given how OTK-oriented it has become), but at the very least, they're a lot more competent that they are at present.

you were right about the stats on King and world and for golden i intended you to have to pop another monster and forgot to type that so thanks for pointing it out. Enraged mokey mokey i feel i should simply change it to have a max amount of pops (i think 2 would be a good compromise) and after thinking about it I actually feel that it might be too good as I just thought of a one card otk ( if you open with world)with a draw two involved. so I might actually put some sort of limitation on this (maybe half damage the turn you use either world or sage) to avoid such a thing. the otk I thought of would be as following

-activate world

-world searches gold/enraged(depending on situation)

-summon monster searched by world and pop with world

-world summons sage and golden

-sage activates sending 3 of the vanilla mokey mokey to summon king

-golden pops king to search smackdown

-king revives 3 vanillas and monster from step 2

-play smack down

-use sage's in grave eff to pop a monster and summon it

-smackdown makes all of them have 3000 attack giving you 5 3k beatsticks or 4 with piecing(if you summon god)

 

with the half damage this is only 7500 damage so it would avoid being an otk hence why I think the change is necessary but would like to have your thoughts on the matter
