"Dis" Archetype

Hello. This is an archetype I came up with based around stopping Special Summons of all sorts, as well as letting low-level monsters harm and help you at the same time. There'll be more added later, but they'll be part of a different set that really supports this group, which is quite lacking right now. The second set will consist of Synchro monsters for the archetype as well as the "Dismail" monsters mentioned in the Fusion Materials for "Dismal Fusillade Barricade". Note: "Dis" is pronounced "diz".

 

If you feel intimidated by the amount of cards, feel free to split it into two sets (#1-17 & #18-30).

 

Here is the card list:

If a monster would be Fusion Summoned, send 1 Spell Card from your Deck to the Graveyard. Negate the Fusion Summon and banish the monsters used as Fusion Materials.

If a monster would be Ritual Summoned, discard Monsters whose Levels are equal to or greater than the Level of the Ritual monster, negate the Ritual Summon and destroy that monster.

Discard one card to negate a Special Summon that is not a Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz, or Pendulum Summon and destroy that monster(s).

Discard 1 Tuner monster to negate the Synchro Summon of a monster and destroy it.

Discard two cards of the same type (Monster, Spell, Trap, Pendulum). Negate the Xyz Summon of a monster and destroy it.

When a monster(s) is Pendulum Summoned, excavate cards from the top of your Deck equal to the number of monsters Pendulum Summoned, then negate the Pendulum Summon and destroy those monsters.

Once per turn, you may destroy one “"Dis"” Continuous Spell card in your Spell/Trap Card Zone. This card gains the following effects if the following card(s) is in your Graveyard:

“"Dismantle"”: Neither Player can Fusion Summon.

“"Disrupt"”: Neither player can Ritual Summon.

“"Discordant"”- Neither Player can Synchro Summon.

“"Dismateria"”- Neither player can Xyz Summon.

“"Disrhythmic"”- Neither player can Pendulum Summon.

“"Disavow"”-Neither player can Special Summon, except for Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz, or Pendulum Summoning.

This card is treated as a Continuous Spell card while it is face-up on the field. Monsters equipped with “"Dismal Weapon"” cards cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can add 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” monster, or 1 card that has “"Dismal Weapon"” written in its effect, from your Deck or banished pile to your hand, and if you do, all LP that would be lost for the rest of the turn is gained instead.

Once per turn, you may add 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” card from your Graveyard to your hand. Then, take 700 damage.

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis”" Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. The equipped monster loses 1000 Atk but can attack your opponent directly

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis”" Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. The equipped monster loses 500 Atk and can attack twice each Battle Phase.

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis”" Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. The equipped monster’s attack becomes 0. When the equipped monster is destroyed and you control at least 1 "“Dis"” Continuous Spell Card, negate the effects of all cards on your opponent’s side of the field and equip this card to an opponent’s monster. While equipped to an opponent’s monster, that monster’s Atk and Def become 0 and its effects are negated even if this card leaves the field.

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis”" Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. The equipped monster is switched to Defense Position, cannot change its battle position, and has its effect negated. While this card is equipped to a monster on your side of the field, you take no effect damage.

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis”" Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. The equipped monster is switched to Attack position, cannot change its battle position, and has its effect negated. While this card is equipped to a monster you control, you take no Battle Damage

Send 4 “"Dismal Weapon"” monsters that are equipped to monsters to the Graveyard. Destroy the equipped monsters and inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent for each non-"“Dismal Weapon"” monster sent to the Graveyard this way. Then, add 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” from your Deck to your hand.

Equip a “"Dismal Weapon"” monster from your banished pile to a monster on your side of the field. Take 700 points of damage.

Target 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” monster currently equipped to a monster. Neither the targeted card nor the card it is equipped to can be destroyed by card effects.

Add up to 3 “"Dismal Weapon"” monsters from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Take 700 points of damage for each card added by this effect.

When this card is destroyed while you control at least 1 "“Dis"” Continuous Spell Card, you may equip it to a monster on your side of the field. That monster gains 100 Atk. While this card is equipped to a monster, monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.

When this monster is Fusion Summoned, destroy cards on your opponent’s side of the field up to the number of Pyro-Type monsters in your Graveyard.

3 Level 2 “"Dismal Weapon"” monsters

Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to summon 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position

2 Level 3 WIND Pyro-Type "“Dismal Weapon"” monsters

When this monster is Xyz Summoned, banish all "“Dismal Weapon"” monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can detach one Xyz Material from this card to add up to 2 "“Dismal Weapon"” monsters from your banished pile or Graveyard to your hand. If you do, you may immediately equip them to monsters on your side of the field. Then, your opponent takes 500 damage for each equipped “"Dismal Weapon"” on your side of the field.

When this card is activated, return all monsters equipped with “"Dismal Weapon"” cards to their owner’s hands, then summon the “"Dismal Weapon"” monsters sent to the Graveyard by this card in face-up Defense Position.

This card’s Summon cannot be negated. Your opponent cannot activate cards in response to this card’s Summoning. This card can only be Summoned by Tributing 1 “"Dismal Sellsword Murra"” equipped with 5 “"Dismal Weapon"” cards that were equipped by their own effect. When this card is Summoned, equip as many “"Dismal Weapon"” cards to it as possible from your hand, Graveyard, or banished pile. This card is unaffected by card effects other than its own. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can send 1 “"Dismal Weapon"” equipped to this card to the Graveyard. Then, target 1 monster your opponent controls. Place 1 '"Dismal"” counter on that card. The effects of cards with ""Dismal"” counters are negated and this card gains their Atk and Def, and also their effects.

Ok thanks. Yeah, originally this was a lot smaller (just the Continuous Spells, the non-Extra Deck Weapons, and Dis Destroyer) but I've been working on it for a few weeks. I'll do the effect thing later too but I don't have time right now. Also, I'll fix the repeat since it's actually supposed to be a "banished pile" version of "Rusted Weapon". Edit: Everything fixed now, effects visible below cards, plus a set-split option.
