Elemental HERO Burning Wingman

Level 6 Wind

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

 

1 Wind Elemental HERO + 1 Fire Elemental HERO

When this card destroys a monster by battle you can activate one effect: Inflected damage equal to the original atk; or draw one card.

 

Well here is my version of Flame Wingman. I was having a bit of trouble since I didn't want it to be a clone of Thomas Zero's card. I thought if it destroyed a weak monster in defense it wouldn't deal that much damage so I gave it draw power to give it give it versatility.

You also need to mention its ATK/DEF, although we know they're 2100/1200 (if you took Wingman's stats)

 

Anyway, OCG fix and my review.

 

1 WIND "Elemental HERO" monster + 1 FIRE "Elemental HERO" monster
If this card destroys a monster by battle: You can activate 1 of these effects.

- Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original ATK.

- Draw 1 card.

As I mentioned in Zero's thread, while Blazeman is still an acceptable substitute for Burstinatrix in HEROs; WIND doesn't have the luxury of having a viable HERO to work with outside Avian (and Stratos is still banned in TCG as far as Konami is concerned). Though, you did make another HERO earlier that can compensate for it, so that probably makes things better.

 

Most of the time, you'll probably be killing a decent sized monster with this, but sometimes a draw is always nice. But yeah, you can always forego burning for low damage in lieu of a free card (and added chances for HEROs to do whatever). Though, 2100 ATK isn't quite what it used to be back then (especially for a Level 6 Fusion) and relies on Skyscraper or other support cards to stand out.
