Althemia Posted March 6, 2016 Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 I've been playing a lot of Yugioh again recently and have soon discovered just how crazy this card actually is. The ability to recycle resources so easily while it's also completely immune to pretty much anything at the cost of banishing itself and gaining knowledge into your opponent's hand / potentially disrupting plays doesn't particularly seem very fair. We've already seen one instance of this card being incredibly strong, though admittedly Damagejuggler is more to blame for that, and we're probably soon going to see another one. Thoughts? It was good but hardly game-breaking in Infernoid because it just gave you a little value while also being a handy floater. From what I hear it was far more broken in PePe because returning a Damage Juggler is far stronger than just an Infernoid, and idk about new cards anymore but if Mezuki really is gonna be good then that interaction will be broken as well. I'd lay the blame at the stuff it returns, though - if the cards you return to grave are so good that you make an average to good level 8 broken it's the fault of them - Mezuki has always been an incredibly good card and was always some good zombies away from being as broken as it was back in its heyday. Posted March 6, 2016 Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 This card would only really see list attention if every Deck under the sun could easily play it.And I'm not just saying playing it for the sake of random funk-your-hand plays, I mean literally make use of every single one of it's plays- Like, we need more Mezukis/similar cards/etc, and then we can fully justify playing Omega in everything.But as Phil stated, it would fall more on what the cards in question are, since they are often what gets more usage out of them, rather then a card that can just recycle them. This card has nice uses with cards that self-Banish, such as the Kozmos, DMoC, Juggler, and as you mention Mekuki. w/ regards to TCG, CoTH and Reasoning kinda conflict, but this can help make the Call of the Haunted builds with Kozmo significantly more potent Wish this sheet was legal during Tele DAD :3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
