ParadoxCaller
A Fusion without any generic Fusion Materials? [spoiler=Fruit Dragon]1 Plant-Type monster + 1 Dragon-Type monsterThis is also treated as a Dragon-Type monster while face-up on the field. This card's original ATK is equal to the combined original ATK of its Fusion Materials. (Even if its effect is negated or is flipped face-down.) Once per turn, during either player's turn: If this card is targeted by a card effect; you can negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card, also send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. Dokutah
so.... what deck does run this? Sylvan comes in mind...but they rather go Quasar than this. Archetype Yuuri played from the current anime is another but that to much stretch for now. Most fusion substitute has too low attack to compensate the Plant material. But to be fair and worry a bit, most dragons already has fat stat to begin with. i can see this card ended with 2500-3000. as for its anti-stat reset effect: "This card's original ATK is equal to the combined original ATK of its Fusion Materials ( the effect applies even if this card is flipped face-down). This Effect cannot be Negated." the negate effect is decent, but unless its intended by you (in correlation of fruit/edible by anyone theme) sending only 1 or 2 top card its not gonna disrupt much...and often help opponent more
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'd have to agree with the above poster on this one. At present, there aren't many Decks (if any) that can feasibly run the materials needed to go into this card. Most I can think of at this time is some Plant deck that goes into Black Rose (and that already has a respectable 2400 ATK base, coupled with whatever Plant you use). There is some hype regarding Yuri from ARC-V and his Deck revolving around Plant monsters and all; if they come out good, this card might have a new purpose. However, until we actually see things, can't really hope for anything. The negation is fine and all, but given that a lot of Decks use the Graveyard as a "second Deck" of sorts, you may inadvertently put some of their key cards in a place where they can do quite a bit of damage to you. So yeah, having an unnegatable ATK gain upon Fusion is somewhat worrying, coupled with its negation/mill effect, but the question is figuring out a competent Deck that can make use of this in the first place.
