Raine
I think if Machines and People fought in a world that's post basic space faring, it'd be a pretty even fight. Humans are stupid inefficient but as long as they can find and use resources nearly indefinitely, the unpredictability and lack of needing any centralized control makes them ideal for skirmishes and over-expanding. Machines would be crazy efficient but would favor defensive strategies logically opting for short-periods of high intensity offensives to eliminate humans but humans would be too quick to recover. Over long periods of time, machines are favored because of how impenetrable they'd become and how easily they could survive the universe.

Delibirb
The thing about AI forces is that they wouldn't need to fight at all. They would do things that we would expect them to do, things that we designed them to do, but in reality, they would be doing something that we would not even be able to detect let alone expect of them. There won't be a war, there'll be a moment, where humanity just all of a sudden, loses. I am a big fan of this video and others in its particular series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcdVC4e6EV4 EDIT: This one too, around 6:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qfIgCiYlfY
