Text: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, its owner can add 1 "Black Luster Soldier" card from their Deck or Graveyard to the hand. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of these effects:
*Target 1 Spell/Trap card on the field; banish that target face-up. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
*Send 1 random card in your opponent's hand to the Graveyard.

Text: 1 "Quantum" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Quantum" monsters

Once per turn, you can reduce the level of this card to Special Summon from the Deck a "Quantum" monster with a level equal to the level reduced. Once per turn, you can reduce the level of this card by 1: Target 1 face-up card on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card. During either player's turn, you can send 1 card equipped to this card to the graveyard to decrease the Level/Rank of a monster on either side of the field by 2.

And the Boss of all Bosses:

Text: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, you can reduce the level of this card to Special Summon from the Deck or either player's Graveyard a "Quantum" monster with a level equal to the level reduced. When this card's level is 1, during either player's turn, you can tribute it to send all cards your opponent controls to the Graveyard, then destroy any of your opponent's cards remaining on the field.

Are the Super Quantums (released in Wing Raiders) part of the Quantum archetype?

Depending on what the Japanese name for this Archetype is, it might be. (Though they would only work with the "rangers" as opposed to stuff like Alphan and the like, due to their name changes, if they are).

Because of the translation issues between English and Japanese, some cards may actually be part of another Archetype by their Japanese names and some actually aren't; either case would require the always/never treated as a "x" card clause at the bottom.

^ What Sakura said above.  They could be, but my intention wasn't to make them so.  Perhaps someone will explain to me someday how Power Rangers go with the concept of Quantums.  My guys are actually named after subatomic particles and influential figures in the field of quantum physics.  Them and my guys don't roll together.  I honestly think they just snapped the word "Quantum" on their monsters because they thought it would sound cool...

The quantum part is likely a reference to the source material, which is indeed fighting giant fighting robots/mechs. In Japanese, the Archetype name is "chouryou" [超量], translated to "hyper amounts" or something. Don't ask me why the name stuck though; actual word for "quantum" is ryoushi [量子], so let's assume that is the JP name for Archetype eligibility (and it isn't).

So yeah, go on the assumption that they are not related to the actual Super Quantals, and are their own separate group.
