Church of Madoka: Pink or red ribbon? [Madoka spoilers]

Somewhere it was suggested that to remember your faith to Madoka you can wear a pink ribbon (on hair, as a wristband, etc.)

However, I have been internally debating between choosing a pink or a red ribbon:

 

Pink Ribbon: the color associated with Madoka.

Red Ribbon: like the ribbon Madoka gives Homura before becoming a goddess. Thus, I perceive a red ribbon would represent a link between us followers and our savior Madoka.

 

Which one do you think is more appropriate, if not both?
