MasterOfMagicians
You have to look at it statistically. 1) Werewolves need a full moon in order to transform. Once transformed, they remain in their 'Were' state until the full moon is no longer prominent (hides behind clouds, goes away, daybreak, etc). A full moon only comes around about once a month, so that seriously hurts the werewolf's ability to be better than a vampire. 2) Vampires may be bloodthirsty, but they are very powerful. They gain exceptional strength from the 'vampire virus' that flows through their veins once they have been transformed. Not everyone bitten becomes a vampire, they can control their victims fates. Death or transformation. Vampires are restricted to the night, much like werewolves, however, they cannot transform into something else in order to stand the daylight. 3) Vampires can be killed by a variety of things. Mainly and most commonly known are the wooden stake through the heart, or a bite from a werewolf. 4) Werewolves can be killed by either removing their head or shooting them with a silver bullet, silver arrow, silver something. 5) Werewolves have the least restrictions on them, however have the least amount of time with their power. Vampires are eternal with their power, but are restricted to dark, dank lairs until nightfall when they can feed (and fight werewolves off). Werewolves have a better chance at killing off Vampires because of their restriction to dark areas and their allergy to light, however Vampires have a better chance 29 out of 30 days of the month.
