When this card attacks: Change it to face-down defense position after damage calculation. When this card is flipped face-up, this card can attack directly this turn, also, your opponent can not inflict damage to you unless you control no monsters.

When this card attacks: Change it to face-down defense position after damage calculation. If this card was flipped face-up by your opponent's attack or by a card effect: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent, also, if this card was flipped face-up by an attack from a level 4 or higher monster, this card is not destroyed.

When this monster is Xyz Summoned: Flip all monsters on the field to face-down defense position. When this card changes to face-up attack position, you can detach 1 Xyz Material to activate these effects in sequence:

Flip up to 2 face-up monsters on the field to face-down defense position.

Target 2 face-down monsters on the field: Change them to face-up attack position.

Then change this card to face-down defense position.

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a face-up "Tunller Driller" as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Material attached to that card also become Xyz Material to this card). When this card is Xyz Summoned: Flip all face-down defense position to face-up attack position. Once per turn, during any players turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material to activate 1 of these effects:

Flip all monsters you control to face-down defense position, except this card.

Flip all face-down monsters you control to face-up attack position.

 

Tunller Underground Complex

Field Spell Card

Face-down monsters are flipped to face-up attack position during your opponent's Standby Phase, and face-up attack position monsters changed to face-down defense position during your opponent's Battle Phase. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent can change their monsters battle position during the Battle Phase. This effect can not be negated. Flip effects can not be activated while this card is on the field.

 

Tunller Backup

Quick-Play Spell Card

Target 1 face-up "Tunller" monster you control and 1 face-down "Tunller" monster you control: Flip the first target to face-down defense position, and flip the 2nd target to face-up attack position.

Too fast on Bumping. change the Light Teal colored text to regular black...to bright to read, to obscure to fully-judged

 

but to be fair gonna go with general of their works and 1 of the cards for a while

 

so...bunch of rather weak stat card (except their extra deck...bosses?) that reset its flip trigger effect on attack...ok

 

Number 140 is mixed..if not nonsensical in whole part that this FACE-UP DEFENSE is treated as FACE-DOWN DEFENSE in same state which give us 3 question:

 

1) for sake of incoming bit logic arguing. which R/L cards that also does this as your reference?

2) how about the detail interaction with card that manipulate position? in such as Book of Taiyou?

3) why not you just add the regular Flip-it-self and Flip Trigger effect pair instead?

I don't think that Xyz can be flipped to face-down defense position

 

*sigh*

 

all monster in game CAN be change to face-down defense position either by its own effect or other effect (the only thing that hard if not impossible to be applied to Xyz is effect that related to Level . otherwise all factor that normally could occur in game is valid to happen). if your logic that "there non-Xyz (or even ED) monster konami ever produce that take advantage of being face-down" is because...let's face it Flip effects i rather slow for Meta game (don't talk Shaddoll, they don't use it much) and is even slower to jumping through hoops of making the ED monster you summon for sake of triggering effect. which for me is kinda weak logic...since self-flip monster exist and there still a lot of improvement involving the said mechanic, which why i suggesting it in 3rd question.

 

P.S: still can't give full review for a while.

@above: Just assume that he's unfamiliar with the metagame (and by extension, Advanced cardmaking standards).
 
Number 140's stats are too high for a generic Rank 4 monster; either make it a 3-mat (and update the X form accordingly), or tone its ATK to 2400. That, and because of the Numbers thing, did you randomly pick it out or is there some meaning to it?
 
But yeah, its face-down Defense effect really doesn't make sense here, as ALL monsters can be flipped face-down (even Xyz, if Book of Moon hasn't already answered your question by now). You really need to read the notes about how Xyz Monsters work.

The Field Spell already stops Shaddolls from triggering their own field effects, but nothing stops them from their mill thing.

OK, the power drop here isn't really great. 

Tunller Mole
 

When this card declares an attack: Change to face-down Defense Position after damage calculation. When this card is flipped face-up: Your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards this turn.

 

 

 

OK, a one-sided version of Trap Stun. This isn't too bad in practice, but it's only good if you're the one flipping it on your turn to prevent any backrow like Mirror Force. By today's standard, MF isn't even used (but suppose you can stop other stuff)
 
Tunller Hare

 

When this card declares an attack: Change to face-down Defense Position after damage calculation. When this card is flipped face-up, this card can attack your opponent directly this turn, also, while you control a monster, you take no battle damage from your opponent's monsters.

 

So then, does Hare block effect damage as well? Regarding the direct attack effect, it's only good if you flip it on your turn; that's it. 

Tunller Snake


When this card declares an attack: Change to face-down Defense Position after damage calculation. If this card was flipped face-up by your opponent's card: Your opponent takes 500 damage, also, if this card was flipped face-up by an attack from a Level 5 or higher monster, this monster is not destroyed by that battle.

 

Minor burn and some degree of battle immunity; although recall that Xyz Monsters still exist and effect removal is definitely a thing. 

 
Number 140: Tunller Driller
 

2 Level 4 monsters
When this monster is Xyz Summoned: Change all monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, it is treated as being in face-down Defense Position. If this card changes to Attack Position: You can detach 1 Xyz Material; activate these effects in sequence:
● Change 2 face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position.
● Target 2 face-down monsters on the field; change them to face-up Attack Position.

 

As I already told you above, either you lower its ATK/DEF to 2400/2000 for a generic 2-mat or you make this a 3-mat. Know that Rank 4 is VERY heavily utilized in this game. I have removed the last effect because it makes no sense. I suppose it's nice for softening up certain monsters, but otherwise it's gimmicky and requires that you play this in Defense Position first, THEN change this. 

Number X140: TunllerUltimo Driller
 

3 Level 4 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 4 monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that card also become Xyz Materials on this card). When this card is Xyz Summoned: Flip all face-down Defense Position to face-up Attack Position. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material; activate 1 of these effects:
● Flip all monsters you control to face-down Defense Position, except this card.
● Flip all face-down monsters you control to face-up Attack Position.

 

 

This one is less gimmicky to work with; I'll say this much. Idea is to use the above card to flip things first, then Xyz Change into this. As much as I'd like to say Shaddolls could make this off of some used Rank 4 thing, I don't think they want this. Most of the time, you're probably going to make this card via the RUM method, but to be fair, I don't see a Deck that can really play with this. 
 
Tunller Underground Complex
 

During your opponent's Standby Phase: Flip all face-down monsters on the field face-up. During your opponent's Battle Phase: Flip all face-up Attack Position monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position during your opponent's Battle Phase. Once per turn, your opponent can target 1 monster they control; this turn, it can attack a monster while in Defense Position, but if it does, apply its ATK for damage calculation. This effect cannot be negated. Flip Effects cannot be activated.

 

 

The main point here is locking off FLIP: effects (the fix I gave might lock off this set's effects). At worst, it'll probably screw up 'dolls and Prediction Princess (I think Shaddolls have some ways to get rid of this). The third effect does exist on some obscure monsters, but in practice, unless the opponent has something like Superheavies (come to think of it, there's probably some ruling issue with a few of them since they can attack in Defense, but use that stat for stuff).

I added a decrease in damage for JR

 

I kept mole the same

 

Tunller hare does block effect damage, so ill add that into the text

 

Kept snake the same

 

Driller can now go into face-down defense position, and I added the last effect so that it can flip again

 

DrillerUltimo I changed to where it can only use Driller as the Xyz monster Xyz material. Also I added that it only does it for your monsters

 

Underground complex i kept the same, although I reworded it

 

Any thoughts?
