вєgσттєη ιηѕαηιту
This may not be entirely flavorful but I decided that for a YGO RP that I am joining, that my character would take influence for the original King of Duels and use a Toon deck. In a recent advertisement for Duel Monsters, a local card shop began selling brand new Pendulum Toon Monsters! Of course, my OC had to give them a shot. [spoiler=Cards]Comic Kuriboh | DARKLevel 2Fiend/Toon/Pendulum/EffectScale <3/3>PE: If you control another "Comic" Pendlum card in your Pendulum Zone than this card is also treated as "Toon World". During Damage Calculations, you may shuffle this card back into your deck; Target 1 attacking Toon monster you control: Any damage dealt by that monster this turn is doubled.ME: Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly. During your opponent's turn, at damage calculation: You can discard this card; you take no battle damage from that battle (this is a Quick Effect).500/300------------------------Comic Synchron | LIGHTLevel 3Machine/Toon/Pendulum/EffectScale <6/6>PE: If you control another "Comic" Pendlum card in your Pendulum Zone than this card is also treated as "Toon World". Toffee.
Honestly, you should remove the 'If Toon World is destroyed, destroy this card' clause. Toon monsters, basically, evolved beyond the need for that weakness.Srsly, all the newer ones lack that/it makes them weaker for no reason. Oh, and Toon Comic Simorgh having the 'opponent can't set' clause for a Pendulum Effect is stupid.

Tesability Black
Oh, and Toon Comic Simorgh having the 'opponent can't set' clause for a Pendulum Effect is stupid. If you're gonna mirror Dark Simorgh, the 'can't set' bit should actually be a monster effect, for starts. The effect of either Ancestry or Divinity would be better as a Pendulum Effect, if your have no problems with combining the large birdies. Also, you'd have been better off Tooning-out existing Pendulums instead of turning non-Pendulums into such. BUT, that is my two cents.

I was trying to avoid using archetypes if possible. Any recommendations?
Tesability Black
Soul, Toons didn't give two sh*ts about archetypes. If there was ever an archetype about thievery, the Toons are it. There are already several Toons that could sneak into another archetype, such as Toon Cyber Dragon, Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Summoned Skull and Toon Ancient Gear Golem. Do not take Archetype into consideration and instead look at the pieces that may have caught your eyes, mentally reworking their effects to have them effect Toons instead of their original archetype. I'm pretty sure someone would slap the ever-loving sh*t out of you if you tried to Toonify any of the Pendulum Qliphorts, though. EDIT: OH, just remembered something. The Toon Archetype gives you eventually a way to add more Toons to the archetype. Specifically with Comic Hand and other cards that turn monsters into Toons. Every so often, you can possibly convert a 'captured' monster into a Toon for later use. Something to keep in mind for the future.
