ITT: Raeg talks about his experience with Mega Bloks today.

Disclaimer: I've never played any games in this franchise, but eh, I like military themed stuff, sooo...yeah. Also, no idea why this came out sideways.

Anyway, Mega Bloks. You may know them as that "brand that copies Lego", which is kind of true, but their themes couldn't be more different. Lego is strictly family friendly, which isn't a bad thing, while Mega Bloks have themes like Halo, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Destiny, and so on. Mega Bloks do have more kid friendly stuff as well.

After building this set, I actually like it. A little bit of a pain to put together, but otherwise good. The figure have good articulation, more so than Lego minifigures, so that's also a plus.

Since Lego has no military theme (and I respect that), Mega Bloks Call of Duty is probably the best you're gonna get in this regard, along with KRE-O G.I. Joe. So yeah, I still love Lego, but I also like Mega Bloks now. Please do not go into mass hysteria. Thank you.

Now if you excuse me, I have a top secret meeting with Armz to discuss building toys to go it. Peace out, homies.

Yeah, I've mixed lego pieces with mega bloks pieces as well.

This I might do with other military sets from a couple of years ago. Keep the vehicles, but use Lego minifigures for them, instead of MB figures. Example of a non-COD military set:

This is from like 2012ish, but sealed MBs on the secondary market are not as expensive as sealed Lego on the secondary market.

Traitorous scumf***. No brand loyalty these days. Absolutely disgraceful smh.

you wanna go jabroni

i'll fuckin slice yo jabroni ass dawg
