Star Defecator
LIGHT | Rank 11 | Dragon/Xyz/Effect | ATK 3200 | DEF 2800
2 Level 11 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 9 or 10 Xyz Monster you control with 2 or more Xyz Materials as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card's Xyz Summon cannot be negated. When Xyz Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. If this card with Xyz Material attacks, your opponent's cards and effects cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step.

I know "Defecator" has more than one meaning, but it has such a revolting connotation from its initial word "defecate" which means to poop. But, looking how its effects acts exactly like Star Eater, and you also mention Star Eater, I guess you were going for a Star Eater Xyz Counterpart. So okay I will roll with the idea... Though a name change could be in order if you don't want people to take it as literally a Star pooper.

Like Star Eater it has a purpose to Summoned unscathed, and then wreak havoc on the same turn it was Summoned. Unlike it though, it is unlikely to naturally get out 2 Level 11's, but I guess that is why added the effects for him to be able to Summon via Rank 9 or 10. The Rank 10 is the easiest route of the 2, so it would probably only be used in trains if they really care to use it which yeah maybe if they Summon Gustaph Maxx instead of Dora which is usually their go to play since they want to detach Derricrane. It's attacking effect is odd though in that it requires it to have Xyz material, yet it never uses it you may as well just say that the effect applies even without Xyz materials.

I don't know I feel like you could do something to maybe distinguish it a little from Star Eater with maybe one different effect... It seems lack luster in comparison.

What goes in must come back out.

It can still lose Xyz Materials, most likely by leaving the field and then returning to it later on (e.g. by getting destroyed and then restored by Soul Charge). It's meant to mirror Star Eater's Nomi clause in a way, I guess, but is nowhere as restrictive.

It does have a different Continuous Effect from Star Eater. In fact, the Armades effect should generally be better than Star Eater's.
