You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned without using "Nekroz of Black Rose", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Ritual Summoned: You can destroy all cards on the field. During either player's turn, except during the Damage Step: You can discard this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes 0 until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Nekroz of Black Rose" once per turn.

 

Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Nekroz" monster from your Graveyard, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; change that target to face-up Attack Position, and if you do, its ATK becomes 0 until the end of this turn.

If I have to borrow words from Black and Voltex, this breaks the flavor aspect of Nekroz being based on characters from the DT Wars; Black Rose isn't. That, and all Nekroz have a hand discard effect; ditch them and do something. In this case, card is basically BRD's original effects.

 

I guess you can banish stuff like Great Sorcerer to search more stuff, or Dance Princess to retrieve said banish fodder, but I don't even think the former is used (latter, not too sure). Usage-wise, it's less restrictive than Gungnir, but from my runs with the Deck, I don't have space to run it (least from my last year's version). Then again, the banishing is counterproductive for what they do; Valkyrus needs those in the Graveyard to end Battle Phases (and the Ritual Spells themselves need at least 1 each to search more).

 

So yeah, choose which of BRD's original effects you wish to keep/adapt, and exchange the other one with a hand discard effect that offers Nekroz something they don't have ease of access doing.

I changed a little the 2nd original eff of Black Rose. Added the "discard" cost and not only for Defense Monsters.
