Each effect can only be activated once per duel.•Add 1 WATER type monster from your Deck to your Hand.•Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand.•Banish the top card in your opponent's deck face down. 3 Level 5 DARK monstersYou can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster on the field; discard 1 card and destroy the target. 2 Level 7 EARTH monstersWhen your opponent activates an effect that would destroy this card: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target another monster you control; destroy that monster, and if you do, inflict damage equal to half of the ATK of that monster. 2 Level 8 FIRE monstersYou can also Xyz Summon this monster by using a Rank 6 or 7 FIRE Xyz monster you control as Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's Spell or Trap cards as long as it has Xyz Materials attached to it. Once per turn: you can detach Xyz Material from this card to inflict 800 points of damage to your opponents. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 All of these are pretty much impossible to summon nowadays with the current card pool. Aqua is at least an Astral Force target, so suppose you can use it off Merrowgeist or dead 101s, but that's really it. The effects themselves really shouldn't be once per duel; well, the searching definitely doesn't need that restriction. I really don't see a reason to run this over generic Rank 6s that WATER decks can make, if they want to. I suggest making it a generic Rank 6 and lowering it to 2 mats. Death's effects isn't strong enough to warrant requiring 3 specific mats at Level 5, and its stats aren't really good (see Volcasaurus and Adreus for generic 2-mats that are stronger and can pop things for less cost). Basically, you're expending 2 resources (Xyz material + discard) to kill 1 monster; you could just change it to destroy all monsters your opponent controls instead; that would be worth it. Well, you should remove the discard too. But yeah, not seeing a Deck that can realistically make this card. If it were 2-mats, maybe Blackwings could do something with Gofu + whatever Level 5s they run besides it, but that's it (and they don't Rank 5 if I remember correctly). Earth is pretty much impossible to summon, given the current Level 7 EARTH pool, and effect isn't the best thing in the world. Yeah, it technically uses another monster as a meat shield and burns the opponent, but that's pretty much it. Stats are fine though, but I don't see this being summoned. Fire at least can Xyz Change from Basiltrice / Soldda for Hazy Beasts and Evols, respectively, so that's good for it. I am not sure how often those two see play, but unlike the other three Mothers, this one can actually function properly. That in mind though, it does reach a total of 4100 minimum from that method, which is pretty hefty, coupled with its S/T destruction protection. Burn effect isn't much, but it's something. So yeah, this is the only one that'll see play; pretty much due to its stats and being able to Xyz change. Right now, there are no Level 8 FIRE monsters that can coherently run well. (Earth should probably have an alternate summon condition as well, given that fact, but there aren't too many suitable ones you can really go from.)
