Aside from usual Trap Cards and I guess against 'dolls or whatever still plays face-down monsters (ah, and 'specters / whatever cannot be killed by card effects), this is still a one-sided board wipe and most of the time, will be as such. 2500 LP is a high cost to blow up everything, but most players don't necessarily care about LP if it means going for OTKs and stuff.
