Welp, thanks to my boyfriend, I am awake when I shouldn't be. I caught up on the riddle chain, and my only response to the next riddle is "...huh?"

Kind of glad no lives are at stake, or I'd probably have a lot of people to be apologizing to at various funerals...

<!--You little sleuths are so thorough that I feel obligated to leave a nice little message here for you... This tedium will be the death of me, if Mr. Detective doesn't get me first!-->

Do something once and people become prepared to check for it in the future, dear Edward...you should know this.

* The current riddle seems to be referring to CARRION FLOWERS.

* One that has the "color of skin, and flesh"...

* It could be the Stapelia...

* ... yet, trying to enter that as the password...

* ... yields no fruit from that seed.

* Clearly, the part about it being named after MEAT is the most important part....

* On a side note...

* And for this, I'll be using a less formal vernacular...

* ... HOLY FUCK, COW!!

* If you truly are THAT good and fast at solving riddles...

* I may just have to ask for your assistance in locating Chara's Locket.

In any case, my head is shorted out from lack of sleep. I assume the riddle has to do with either dreams or illusions. but i'm already too far gone to trust my brain atm.

I'll probably be back soon though. Now that it's got my interest, i'm gonna have to see it through to the end.

Personally I started to think about surrealism, specifically the golden age. But that's possibly not right.

Though I'm nearly certain it has SOMEthing to do with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Persistence_of_Memory

* I'm having trouble figuring out...

* ... whether the clue refers to the Cap de Creus shown on the right of the painting...

* ... or to the only gold-colored watch in the painting, with the fly standing atop it....

* ... ... I'm feeling absolutely useless here.

* Especially after my last screw-up with the previous riddle....

* ... ... ... ... ...

* ... of course I would read the clock's hands in reverse. (11:30 as opposed to 6:55)

* Of-fucking-course I would....

*... the next riddle seems to involve music, though...

* I've misplaced my piano, however, so I'll need to find something else...

* ... to help me figure out what song this is....

... ... ... ... ... ... ...

* ... also known as "Auld Lang Syne"

* That... is the password.

* It's okay, Talim.

* It would've been trouble for me, too, had I not sought out a Virtual Piano on the internet.

* Now, for the current riddle...

* ... it must involve that old human movie about a rather vicious shark.

* And that "what's-her-name" was one of its victims.

5Yoy6gA.png

* ... of course, most would probably remember her for going skinny dipping.

* Her name was Christine Watkins, or "Chrissie".

* ... however, when I attempted to input either as the password, it didn't quite work.

* Am I getting the capitalization (or lack thereof) wrong? Maybe there needs to not be any spaces...?
