Ruin Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Here is another monster that is ready to bring you to your grave.[spoiler=Prepare your soul] Monster effect: Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target up to 2 of your banished cards, return them to your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can banish 1 card from your Graveyard. If this card is banished from your Graveyard, you can target up to 2 of your banished cards (except this card), return them to your Graveyard. The first effect, I can understand; recovering banished cards. This can help you recover cards like Mezuki or Plaguespreader Zombie (if you're running a Synchro build). However, looking at the second effect, were you intending indirect Shiranui support? By the effects alone, it looks like the Xyz equivalent of Shiranui. Though, while both of these effects are fine, the last effect just seems needless and repetitive. Its Material effect can already recover banished cards to the Graveyard. Maybe if it added one of them to the hand instead of returning it to the Graveyard, it would help differentiate it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
