Basil Fawlty

This is the card of Basil Fawlty, main character from my favourite sitcom ever, Fawlty Towers. To quote Wikipedia, Basil is "a misanthropic, pessimistic and somewhat snobbish man whose main aspiration is to become a member of more "respectable" (richer) social circles". He often lies, then other lies must be told in order to sustain his original lie, until the entire construct of falsehoods becomes too ridiculous and convoluted to hold together, and comes crashing down upon him in the most destructive and humiliating way imaginable :)

I even don't know if that idea I imagined has a sense in case of a card, but I really wanted to express this nature of Basil :) (And "Psychic" as a type is 100% lore feature ;) )

Must first be Synchro Summoned to your opponent's side of the field by using monsters you control as Synchro Material. Cannot be destroyed by battle. During your opponent's Standby Phase: Destroy this card, and if you do, the controller of this card takes 2000 damage.

I don't know about this one to be honest, considering you are still giving them a 2000 ATK monster that they can use for attacks, ED fodder and so forth, and sacrificing your own materials to do so, when you could make things that are actually helpful. The burn is cute, but just not seeing a Deck that would want to use this (and it's basically going to bite you in the end, unless you can win on the turn this card gets revived).

I guess you could summon it to disrupt the opponent's setup or something, but yeah, not seeing a reason to run this over something like Clear Wing, Black Rose Dragon (and its counterpart) or other common 7s.

Well, not exactly for attacks - we're summoning him during our own turn, and before our opponent's Battle, or even Main Phase would start, BOOOM! ;) But you're right, of course - there aren't many reasons to use this card, maybe only for trolling ;) Thanks for opinion.
