It's because you could Synchro every turn, whereas using Pendulums to Xyz doesn't return them to the Extra Deck.

Its funny how this is a double standards.

Honestly what harm would a Pendulum/Tuner with no drawbacks and wasn't Level 1/12 do to the game anyway? I mean, every Deck can basically establish an auto-win field turn 1 anyway, so it's not like you'd ever really Pendulum Summon more then once.

Tmw you realise this is basically an overflow product because there's no room in the main set for Z-arc and his stuff, no as a result this deck is gimped by design.
