PP19-JP007 R・R・R[レイド・ラプターズ・レプリカ] Raid Raptors Replica
Normal Trap Card
(This card is always treated as a “Raidraptor” card.)
(1) Target 1 “Raidraptor” monster you control; Special Summon 1 monster with the same name from your Deck, also while that Special Summoned monster is face-up on your field, your opponent cannot target your targeted monster with attacks, or by card effects.

EDIT: Oh yeah, source: https://ygorganization.com/pp19-raid-raptors-replica/

EDIT2: Added [peepeenineteen] to the name of the thread

EDIT3: made it target monsters, not cards

The deck whose main problem is only having one play a turn gets a trap that requires you to leave a Raptor out for the "benefit" of splashing another copy from the deck on the next turn. If it could at least offer the protection to extra deck RR then maybe, but no.

Sure it's searchable but so is Readiness which gives you extra turns.

Good concept but...

Everyone else pretty much summed it up. Why search this when you can search readiness.

I will probably test it anyways though, because it can be considered a "Quick Play RR-Call" in the case of someone trying to pop a ruri on summon, but i'd rather just use Swallow's Nest if that were the case.

Also target RR Cards?

Summon Nest in ATK mode? lol

Edit: Alright so that part was a translation error.

Also... the protection isn't that bad, so I'll run back to say it really depends on if you have the space for it. You essentially have a free (unrestricted) xyz play if you play this before your monster dies, and it gives a reason to leave a random bird on board.

Will actually be trying this.

Edit 2: When you forget RR only have their effects the turn they're summoned. So if they get summoned on the opponent's turn they're no more than a wall at that point waiting for another bird for an xyz.
