Bringerofcake
Collective SeaField SpellWhile this card is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard, its name is treated as "Umi". When this card is activated: Banish any number of "Umi" from your Deck with different names. While this card is on the field, it gains the names and effects of those banished cards. If an effect activated by your opponent that would target or destroy this card on the field resolves, you can negate that effect, then return 1 banished "Umi" to your Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Collective Sea" per turn. Because it really doesn't make much sense that we have all these different sea cards but they actually aren't one big sea. Like come on now. If Konami decides to errata how Umi works this becomes nuts, but as it stands a max 3 different fields isn't necessarily bad, especially when your strongest options are Lemuria, Pacifis and Legendary Ocean. Darj
Kinda wish it was named "All Blue"; if you know One Piece, you will know why.An issue I see with this card's intended effect is that Lemuria and Legendary Ocean aren't treated as "Umi" while in the Deck, so they cannot be banished by this card's effect. To fix this, you can take the Dark Magician support approach and go for an effect that applies on a card that specifically list the card "Umi" in its text. And yeah, a card like this would be really nice, and not that problematic IMO. Sure, it can stack multiple effects, but they don't quite work that well together so I don't think it can get out of hand; not even stacking +600 ATK/DEF from Umi, Legendary Ocean and Lemuria would be an issue. Though expanding it to include forgotten temple of the deep isn't a terrible idea I suppose. Also I totally get All Blue. But which sea is which sea?
