Proltvkun
Hello guys, i am proltvkun, and this is my second topic, so i hope if you ca help mesrry if my english is bad, is cause i am from argentina and i am not very well at english (but in the school i EVER have 10 in english XD) Note: the continuous cards and the high level card maybe be too op, but is because i wanna know EXACTLY what need to nerf and what is okay. Aaand i dont use images of the cards because the page dont let me do it. Monsters:Ocaso SuccubusRitual, effectlevel 5DarkFiendAtk: 2000 Def: 1000effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardWhen this card is ritual sumoned, you can select one enemy monster, half this card atk and take control of that enemy monster until the end of your turn and if you do, you cannot conduct your battle phase.Your enemy can´t negate ritual spells more than one time per turn. The strategy of succubus is be the first on be summoned, and activate its effect, after that use the enemy monster for another ritual Summon, and the enemy cannot negate that summon, but you need too much luck to have a well hand to do it, because this is the perfect hand, and need 4 card in your hand (2 rituals, 2 spells and one of rituals and spell need to be specific + one monsters in often cases) making this play that are absurd powerfull very rare to be completed. Ocaso FairyRitual, effectlevel 6light FairyAtk: 400 Def: 2300effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardWhen this card is ritual sumoned, you can select one "Ocaso" spell card on your graveyard and return that card to your hand.Once per turn If you enemy activate an effect from graveyard you can discard one card from your hand and negate the activation. This card strategy is based on do an combo with another ritual monster, and that ritual monster will atk more safe, and can make a great combo with succubus cause they are lower level. Ocaso Unicorn PegasusRitual, effectlevel 7light FairyAtk: 2500 Def: 1600effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardThis card infict piercing damage.Une time per turn you can discard one card from your hand and negate the activation of an spell/trap and destroy it.This card strategy is be summonedin the early duel, cause the most common card that negate attacks or spells are spell/traps, and because of that, your enemy will be in an problem if he have in mind defend lp with spell/traps, making this card an great stun monster. Ocaso HellHoundRitual, effectlevel 8DarkFiendAtk: 2700 Def: 1300effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardEvery standby phase inflict 500 damage to enemy lpWhile this card is on the field, your enemy can only attack the card with higher atk that you control. This card strategy is burn the enemy, And have the plus that he will defend his lower atk/def allies but, he can be an bad card if the card with higer atk is in defence position, because the high atk monsters have low def and the card eff will make the enemy attack the card with higher ATK. Ocaso Demon RulerRitual, effectlevel 9DarkFiendAtk: 3000 Def: 500Effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardYour enemy can´t activate more than 2 cards or effects during your battle phases. If this card attack you can destroy one non monster card at the end of the battle phase. This card is an ofensive monster that will attack first ever, and use it eff for make the enemy think what card will be the best to stop the ofensive during the battle phase, cause he only will use one card eff during the battle phase. Ocaso Light Absolute RulerRitual, effectlevel 10light FairyAtk: 3000 Def: 2500effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" cardYour enemy cannot target cards you control for effects, except "Ocaso Light Absolute Ruler", once per turn, if more than 1 "Ocaso" ritual monster are destroyed, and this card is in the graveyard because it was destroyed, you can banish one card on your hand and special summon this card.Once per turn, you can banish 2 cards in your hand face down and negate an special summon. This card is the archetype defender, he will be an body shield for the other card but is so easy to make he don´t attack and because of that he is an shield, and not and sword. Ocaso Queen of NightRitual, effectlevel 11DarkFiendAtk: 4000 Def: 1000effect:This card can only be summoned by the effect of an "Ocaso" spell, and if you don´t use at least one ritual monster as tribute, this card will have its effects negated.Once per turn you can return to the hand one card on the enemy field. This card can attack a number up to the cards that this card return to the hand.Une time per turn, when this card will be destroyed, you can banish one card in your hand and this will be unaffected. This card is the boss of the deck, and she is the monster that you will summon at any cost, but you will pay for the summon with theblood of one of your ritual monster, and if the enemy have and card that will negate the effect of hand return, this card will cannot attack making she not so powerfull but at least, if the enamy don´t do that, you with only this card will can win the duel if you enemy doesn´t control the correct traps. Ocaso ninjaMonster, effectDarklevel 4warriorAtk:1600 Def: 100effect:If this card is used as tribute for an Ritual spell effect you can target one non-monster "Ocaso" card in you deck and send that target to your handocaso ninja is one of the perfect searchers, cause if you use it for an ritual summon you can get another ritual spell or an field or an continuous card. Ocaso PaladinMonster, effectLightlevel 4warriorAtk:2000 Def: 0effect:During your end phase, if you dont control any ritual monster, destroy this card.Once per turn, if this card destroy an monster or inflict battle damage, you can target one "Ocaso" ritual monster or ritual spell on your deck and add it to your hand.Ocaso paladin have an effect like zeradias and the sanctuary of the sky, but in this case you need an "Ocaso" ritual monster or this card will be destroyed, but if you do it well this card grants you one ritual monster. Ocaso acolyteMonster, effectDarklevel 3spellcasterAtk:0 Def: 1200effect:When this card is normal summoned, change it to defense position. While this card is on the field your enemy can´t target "Ocaso" spell/trap.Once per turn, if you ritual sumon an "Ocaso" monster you can target one "Ocaso perfect samsara" in your graveyard or deck and if you do add it to your handthis card is the defender of the ocaso spell/traps and grant you to get "Ocaso perfect samsara" on the field and give you the capasitie to get it every turn if the enemy destroy it while this card is on the field. Ocaso Dark DollMonster, effectDarklevel 3FiendAtk:1000 Def: 1000effect:Once per turn, if you control an "Ocaso" ritual monster, you can discard this card from your hand to the graveyard, and if you do until the end of this turn, flip effects and effects when an monster is attacked are negated.this card is used to make the first battle phases more easier, and have and very powerfull eff in combo with her sister. Ocaso Light DollMonster, effectLightlevel 3FairyAtk:1000 Def: 1000effect:Once per turn, during the battle phase, if you control an "Ocaso" ritual monster, you can discard this card from your hand to the graveyard, and if you do, until the end of the battle phase, spell/traps cannot be activatedthis card have an use very similar to her sister "Ocaso Dark Doll" Ocaso Ultimate DragonMonster, effectDarklevel 12DragonAtk:3000 Def: 3000effect:This cannot be set normal summoned or special summoned. This card only can be special summoned from your hand by banishing one ritual light fairy monster and one ritual dark fiend monster from your hand, and if this card is destroyed you can send the banished materials to your graveyard.Once per turn you can destroy one enemy monster and inflict damage to your enemy equal to that monster atk, in the turn that you activate this effect you cant attack with this card. This card is an "ocaso" version of black luster solidier Spells/Traps:Ocaso emergency ritualSpell, Ritualeffect:Pay 2000 lp, ritual summon one level 5 or 6 "Ocaso" ritual monster from your handthis card is based on get an easy succubus or fairy withou need monsters for the tribute. Ocaso return from deathSpell, Ritualeffect:Select one "Ocaso" ritual moster in your graveyard, tribute monsters in you hand and field until their level was equal to the targeted monster level plus 2.this card is the only way to summon your ritual monsters from your graveyard. Flash Flyer - Sakura
A note that the bump rule for this section is 12 or more hours; if no one replies right away, it's not that people don't want to look at your stuff, but just the section is relatively inactive and having to grade multiple cards (again, you do have a lot of cards). Anyway, I'll try to fix the wording and leave some comments beneath (this is the one you asked me about, right?). Like last time, comments are in blue. =====Ocaso Succubus You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; halve this card's ATK, and if you do, take control of that monster until the end of this turn. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. Your opponent can only negate the activation of Ritual Spell Cards once per turn. Flavor-wise, it fits in what succubi are known for, so that works. To be fair, card is really only useful for grabbing Ritual fodder for the other monsters, and a reminder that Xyz do exist, and you can't really do much with them except attack (if you steal them). Last effect is generally unnecessary, as effects usually don't get negated more than once per turn in general. (Yeah, not even in Nekroz, which is the only other viable Ritual deck barring its hits on both ends.) Ocaso Fairy You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can add 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, if your opponent activates an effect in the Graveyard: You can discard 1 card; negate the activation. Well, I guess we have another way to kill off more BAs and floaters, don't we? But yeah, card is fine for the most part. A point of concern would probably be how generic the Spell retrieval is, especially given some of the Ritual Cards permit reviving from the Graveyard (will cover those later) Ocaso Unicorn Pegasus You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. When this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. During either player's turn: You can discard 1 card; negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, and if you do, destroy it. You can use this effect up to twice per turn. Not really keen on this card being able to negate twice per turn, even with the hand discard. Change it to once per turn, and it'll be fine (it doesn't kill monsters, yes, but it's still negation). Ocaso HellHound You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. During each Standby Phase, your opponent takes 500 damage. Your opponent can only target the monster with the highest ATK you control for attacks. Card is fine for the most part; granted, it burns every turn, but generally minor. The redirection is nice for protecting stuff, and 27/13 stats are certainly fine. Probably will end up making the opponents ram into the below cards. Ocaso Demon Ruler You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. Your opponent cannot activate more than 2 cards or effects during your Battle Phase. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked this turn: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field. Activation restriction is generally moot, outside maybe stall decks or something. Most decks nowadays just trigger whatever variant of Mirror Force and that's it (outside maybe 'specters or some of the other power decks nowadays). Should be okay. Ocaso Light Absolute Ruler You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. Your opponent cannot target other cards for effects, also other cards are unaffected by card effects. Twice per turn, when this card would be targeted or affected by an opponent's card effect: Negate the activation of that effect. If you control "Ocaso Demon Ruler", once per turn, when this card would be targeted or affected by an opponent's card effect: Negate the activation of that effect. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn, if a monster(s) would be Special Summoned: You can banish 2 cards from your Graveyard; negate that Summon. I need to ask if the effect (no targeting/unaffecting) goes for just your stuff, or other cards in general. If the latter, then you need to tone it down significantly. If the former, and protects your stuff from being affected, then it's not as bad, but coupled with its auto-negate, it'll make your stuff really hard to remove, especially off a 3K body. Also not really fond of this negating SSing. Ocaso Queen of Night You can Ritual Summon this card with an "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card. If this card was not Ritual Summoned using a Ritual Monster as Tribute, this card's other effects are negated.Once per turn: You can return 1 card your opponent controls to the hand. This card can make a number of attacks per turn equal to the number of cards returned to the hand by its effect. Twice per turn, this card is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. So here we go with the overkill boss. Yeah, you do need a Ritual Monster for its summon if you don't want this to be a 50/11 vanilla, but it's not unheard of for people to Tribute other Ritual Monsters for successive copies. Even with that in mind, 5000 ATK is still 5000 ATK, and outside something like S39 suiciding into this after his effect, not too much is going to get rid of it. You need to remove its effect immunity, or at least tone it down; also lower its ATK to 4000. Ocaso Ninja If this card is Tributed for a Ritual Spell Card: You can add 1 "Ocaso" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You don't target cards in the Deck, so modified to just add the card to the hand. Otherwise, it's simple enough so it shouldn't do something nuts. Ocaso Paladin During your End Phase, if you do not control a Ritual Monster: Destroy this card. If this card destroys a monster by battle or inflicts battle damage: You can add 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Card will probably end up blowing up 1 monster before it goes, so you'll at least get something out of it. Would recommend a hard OPT on it though. Ocaso Acolyte When this card is Normal Summoned, change it to Defense Position. Your opponent cannot target "Ocaso" Spell/Trap Cards with card effects. If you Ritual Summon an "Ocaso" monster: You can add 1 "Ocaso Perfect Samsara" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. OK, it protects the last three cards; nothing wrong with that. Searching effect might be a bit nuts though depending on how well you get your stuff going. (A little note that this card is running 3 effects on a low Level, which is a bit heavy compared to other usual 3s) Ocaso Dark Doll Once per turn, if you control an "Ocaso" Ritual Monster: You can discard this card; until the end of this turn, negate the effects of Flip Effect monsters and card effects that activate when a monster is targeted for an attack. Bypasses Shaddolls and maybe some other stuff that I can't name at the moment. Flip Monsters aren't that prevalent nowadays except for the aforementioned 'dolls (oh right, and Subterrors). Never mind, I guess this stops them too, but think they have measures to deal with this; will need to check. But yeah, not really keen on this being a stronger version of Breakthrough Skill that extends to every monster on the field (well, with these parameters in place too). Ocaso Light Doll Once per turn, during the Battle Phase, if you control an "Ocaso" Ritual Monster: You can discard this card; Spell/Trap Cards cannot be activated until the end of the Battle Phase. OK, we're giving a blanket Ancient Gear clause to everything on the field now. Ocaso Ultimate Dragon Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type Ritual Monster and 1 DARK Fiend-Type Ritual Monster from your hand. Once per turn: You can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, then your opponent takes damage equal to its ATK. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. If this card is destroyed: You can return the monsters banished to Special Summon this card to the Graveyard. OK, it's basically a Volcasaurus for this Deck; not really a bad thing, but arguably easier to summon and much stronger. Right, and set up for some of the support cards. Ocaso Emergency Ritual This card is used to Ritual Summon 1 Level 5 or 6 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster. Pay 2000 LP; Special Summon 1 Level 5 or 6 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster from your hand. I suppose it'll help you generate Ritual fodder for the small ones if you don't have suitable monsters, but you shouldn't have an issue with that otherwise. Also Ritual Foregone would work too, even though you will not get their on-summon effects. Ocaso Return from Death This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Ocaso" Ritual Monster. Tribute monsters from your hand or field, then Ritual Summon 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster whose Level equals the Level of the Tributed monster - 2. Borrowed wording from Nekroz Illusion (and supposedly this is the equivalent). It's a lot more gimmicky than Mirror, but suppose it has its uses. Ocaso Perfect Ritual This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Ocaso" Ritual Monster. Tribute monsters from your hand or field, then Ritual Summon 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster whose Levels exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck using Ritual Monsters as Tributes or Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Material. During the End Phase, if you activated another card with the same name this turn: Draw cards equal to the number of times a card with this card's name was activated. (I swear, PSCT is becoming a pain to write) But yeah, this thing basically adds on more draws if you get multiple copies going (and it gets nuts with Fairy and Acolyte). There's a reason why the Nekroz Rituals have hard OPT on their activation conditions, and even they were a pain to contend with. World with Ten Thousands Sunsets When a monster(s) is Ritual Summoned: Draw 1 card, then you can banish that card, and if you do, target 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Spell Card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. If this card is destroyed: You can add 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. OK, searches something if opponent is careless enough to MST this; nothing wrong there. One thing of concern may be that depending on how quickly you get your Rituals going (in conjunction with other support cards), this may end up being more draws. Also a note that this apparently works in mirrors and even against other Ritual Decks. Ocaso Dimensional Limit Wall While you have no cards in your Extra Deck and you are the only player that controls a Ritual Monster, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. If you control 3 or more Ritual Monsters, your opponent cannot draw cards except during the Draw Phase. Yeah, just no. Granted, this card does not have the searchability that Domain has (oh wait, scratch that, it does in this Deck AND has protection from Acolyte), but unless the opponent plays Nekroz or something, this does the same thing as Domain. Second effect probably will do something; trying to remember if common Decks nowadays do actual draws or they search most of the time (outside Pot of Desires stuff). I mentioned Nekroz, right? Well, they just got another floodgate that isn't Vanity's (they got neutered a bit, yes, but they can certainly put this to good use; assuming they draw it). (Recommend removing this one) Ocaso Perfect SamsaraOnce per turn, when an "Ocaso" Ritual Monster is sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ocaso" monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Add 1 "Ocaso" Ritual Monster from your Graveyard to your hand. Part of me doesn't like the spam aspect of this, considering how much support you have for these guys already (and the possibility for looping). I guess it'll help you recycle some of the smaller stuff, but yeah. ====To be really fair, you have A LOT of cards in here (mind you, I spent an hour reviewing this), and some of them just add on more search power and a lot of other things that push this to be borderline nuts. I mentioned Nekroz several times in this review because they too are a Ritual-heavy Deck that made waves in the metagame. You need to keep Archetypes smaller and more consistent; right now, your stuff jumps all over the place so hard to pinpoint a theme. Some of the stuff in here is okay, but others need to be toned down or removed.

(Recommend removing this one)yeah, eliminatedOcaso Perfect SamsaraOnce per turn, when an "Ocaso" Ritual Monster is sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Some of the stuff in here is okay, but others need to be toned down or removed.

kevintriedge
Sakura already nailed almost all the points on the cards. - Fairy: I recommend changing what s/he can retrieve into Ritual Spells only or "Ocaso" Spells only, because retrieving any Spell is pretty powerful. I like the second effect though. Discarding something to negate something that activates in the Graveyard still makes you -1, but at least you have the choice of stopping whatever your opponent was trying to do. - Unicorn Pegasus: I agree with Sakura to change its effect to once per turn. Though Rituals are harder to summon than Synchro/Xyz, it is still relatively far easier to summon than Horus LV8. - Light Absolute Ruler: Rather than forcing opp to target him/her/it THEN auto-negate the effect up to twice per turn (which is quite overpowered, especially since two of them make a lockdown), I'd rather drop the auto-negate effect and just give it a floater effect so when your opp does get it out of the field, you still get something in return for refund. Also instead of protecting "other cards", which means two of them can make a lockdown, I suggest changing it to "cannot target cards you control for effects, except "Ocaso Light Absolute Ruler"", so two of them does NOT make a lockdown. The Solemn Warning -like effect for just the cost of banishing 2 from the graveyard is really powerful. Maybe you can change the cost to banishing 2 cards from your hand/field face-down, or drop the effect entirely. Or, make it that "When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s): Target 1 of those monsters; negate its effects until the end of the turn. You can only activate this effect of "Ocaso Light Absolute Ruler" once per turn." - Queen of the Night: I agree with Sakura on this card. Probably drop the additional attack effect and the immunity effect. - Paladin: I really like the concept of this card. It's like Zeradias mixed with Blackwing Shura. Though, I agree with Sakura again on the hard OPT, just to prevent it from going beyond what you intended it to do. (btw, hard OPT refers to the clauses that say "You can only activate/use this effect of [card name] once per turn." It means although you have multiple copies of that card, you can only still use the effect once per turn.) - Acolyte: Acolyte sounds good if you add a hard OPT on her. Otherwise she's a ripe material to abuse to spam combos. - Emergency Ritual: I really like the concept of this one too. Basically tributing your LP instead, eh? XD - Perfect Ritual: Another case where a hard OPT is necessary. Because if you don't put a hard OPT, it means each copy of this card activates their Super Rejuvenation -like effect and it ends up as 3 x 3 draw, which is needless to say overpowered. That being said, even with a hard OPT it's still a bit too powerful. I'd suggest limiting the amount you can draw to 2 (which is earned if you activate 3 copies of this card). - World with Ten Thousand Sunsets: I'd prefer if the first effect is given a once-per-turn clause (but hard OPT is not necessary). - Perfect Samsara: Good card, though I suggest adding a hard OPT for one or both of its effects, so multiple copies don't give you way too many card advantage.
