Blade&Soul's Jinsoyun & Akame ga Kill's Esdeath Yugioh cards

After making the Stardust/Red Dragon Archfiend girls yugioh cards I recently made Some Jinsoyun and Esdeath copies.

For those of you that dont know. Jinsoyun is one of the main antagonists of the mmorpg I play Blade&Soul.

And Esdeath is a no brainer if you watched Akame ga Kill. She is also my favorite anime character which is why i made so many differnt kinds of cards for her.

I think this set of customs came out way better than the Stardust/RDA girls i printed.

I believe the darker the picture, the better the card will look.

Stardust monsters are white and have light backgrounds so they dont show to well on synchro cards which or even xyz cards.

So now i make all my cards either Effect monsters or Xyz. because the blackness of xyz cards really

make the custom art pop. Effects are below, i made them up

 

Number 69: Ice Queen Esdeath

2 level 8 Spellcaster-Type monsters

This card is unaffected by other monster effects. Once per turn you can detatch 1 Xyz materials from this card, then target 2 Special Summoned monsters

your opponent controls, banish 1 and attach the other to this card as Xyz material

 

Number 85: BladeMaster Jinsoyun

3 level 8 Dark-Type Monsters

This card is unaffected by Spell/Trap card effects. Once per turn you can detatch 1 Xyz materials from this card. This card can now attack twice during the battle phase. 

If this card attacks a defense position monster, inflict double piercing battle damage to your opponent.

Esdeath

 

Not really seeing a Deck that can realistically use her; maybe outside Gagagas, however relevant they are nowadays. But yeah, the effect on its own is certainly strong enough for what it's worth. That being said, stats are a bit high considering its monster immunity and essentially "recycling" of materials / banishing removal, even taking into account the possible Decks that can even go into this. Not even sure why she's a Spellcaster to begin with, but this is grading on the general use of the card and not on the anime stuff.

Like Esdeath, not seeing a Deck where this can be run effectively; least that's actually sufficient at their job nowadays. I suppose you could tech this in Gimmick Puppets or something, but pretty sure they have better things to do than try to go for this (though it does offer immunity from Raigeki and other forms of backrow), or don't have the resources to actually make this over their bosses. Also see the Orihulk piercing effect on this, which will hurt quite a bit considering its ATK. Again though, stats are a bit on the high side for a 3-mat (though to be fair, there are generic 3-mat R8s that do have similar/high stats than this card and minimal drawbacks), but that's factoring in this card's S/T immunity. It's otherwise fine, but just iffy on its ATK being this high with a protection effect.

As I've said at the top of this post, we already have 69/85 as official Numbers and those have a purpose for their respective value. Why do these two cards have those particular ones? (Need to mention this for flavor reasons)

Yes but i dont really care if the numbers already exist. i choose random numbers off the top of my head for the cards.I do not think about numbers that are taken or not as it is not of concern to me. If i make more xyz monsters i may make them numberless instead. Also i was not considering decks you can use the cards in. i make the summon conditions of the cards based on a deck that would revolve around the card its self or its archtype. For Jinsoyun's archtype she would also have monsters like "Divine Fist Mushin" or "Righteous Blade Jiwan" Jiwan is another blademaster and mushin is a kung fu master.naturaly it would be very easy to summon these if i made them so you can overlay.the same way it is very easy to summon big beater galaxy eyes Xyz monsters even though you need 3 level 9 monsters for number 95 dark mater. or 2 level 8s for number 62 prime.These are not meant to be universal cards. And i made esdeath a spellcaster because she uses magic with all of her Ice abilities. not her sword. Anyway i appriciate your critial analysis though
